T-Rex Box Turtle Food - Dry Formula 16 oz

At our house we call these the turtle’s Lucky Charms. Maybe we have fussy and picky turtles because they snub their little noses at anything but T-Rex pellets. I’ve tried other dried and even canned turtle food and they won’t touch it. But the T-Rex gets gobbled up every time. I soften these with a little water and put the Lucky Charms on lettuce leaves for breakfast. I only T-Rex any more. Turtle approved taste and color lol.

This product used to be sold at pet stores, i wonder why they don’t any more. It’s so expensive here but of course this is the only dry food my tortoise will eat. I guess I’ll have to dish out the dough to make her happy lol.

I have an eastern box turtle that is more picky and smug than your typical box turtle. At first she turned her nose up at this, but within a couple days she was chowing down. She has consistently eaten this food very well. I just mix even amount of food and water in her dish and let it do it’s thing… It softens by itself. She comes along and eats it all up.

Pleasant smell to me and my turtles. They also like the colors (except the green). Nice knowing that their wild diet is supplemented by a well rounded one

My tortious will not eat other kinds of food he loves this product when I give him other kind he walk away but I give him this and he goes ham on it!! Will recommend for tortious lovers.

I mix it with bananas and my box turtle loves it! He usually won’t just eat it by it’s self.
