Essential Comfort and Support for Post-Surgery Recovery
After my breast augmentation surgery, I was searching for a bra that would provide both the comfort and support I needed during recovery. The MARENA Women’s Flexfit Shirred Front Bra has been a lifesaver! The material is incredibly soft yet supportive, and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin or incision areas. The shirred front design and adjustable straps make it easy to fit comfortably without feeling too tight. I especially appreciate how it provides gentle compression, which has helped reduce swelling and made me feel more secure throughout the day.The bra also holds up well after washing, retaining its shape and elasticity. It’s been the perfect companion for my recovery, giving me peace of mind and helping me feel confident even during this delicate phase. If you’re recovering from surgery and need a high-quality, comfortable post-op bra, I can’t recommend this one enough!

Great surgical recovery bra but you MUST measure and follow their sizing
Let me say it again for the folks in the back: in order for this bra to fit/work, you MUST measure yourself right before ordering and follow their sizing directions. You CANNOT buy your normal bra size - it will be way too tight in most cases. I had a breast reduction at the end of June and ordered this for my recovery bra rotation. I'm approximately a 34C after my reduction, but I ordered a 40 B/C in this bra because of my actual measurements that I took at the time I ordered (35" underbust, 40" overbust, I was still swollen a bit). That actually put me in the 40 AA/A category but I knew by the time I got this I wouldn't want super tight compression anymore so I sized up in the cup (if I had gotten this in time to use right after surgery, I probably would've gone with the AA/A). It fits great, is comfortable and has enough compression to keep things from moving around but not so much that it is uncomfortable on my still-tender incisions. The hook-and-eye closure on the front also has three columns so you can fit it looser or tighter on a given day depending on what feels best. It also doesn't show under clothes nearly as much as my zipper-front recovery bras. One other big benefit of this one for me over my other recovery bras is that the lower band DOESN'T ROLL. So many of my other recovery bras roll at the bottom band and it is so annoying - this one doesn't!

Good Post Op Bra
The band on this bra is comes down farther and is idea for post op after any surgery that leaves incisions under the breast or arm pit (such as for drains). The post op bra put on me after my surgery was not this long and dug into my incisions causing worse pain. The bra is seamless and smooth on the inside for additional comfort. I also found the adjustable straps and front close to help with fitting. I will warn you to follow the size guide when ordering your size. You will most likely not wear the same size you would in a typical bra.

Very comfortable sports bra
Love this sports bra! Easy to put on. Comfortable. High quality. Fits well. Good support. So much better than over-the-head styles.

Not the best garment for Breast Lift/Reduction
I really wanted to like this garment. After suffering with the velcro on other compression garments, this one offered 3 rows of adjustable eye hooks that are much more comfortable. However, this compression garment is much too short. It is oddly super itchy and hits right on your incisions and rubs terribly. If it were a bit longer, and came up higher under the arms, it would but great. If you've just had implants, I'm sure it would be fine. It should not be marketed to breast lift/reduction patients as it's not an acceptable garment in these cases.

Not consistent
In 2020 the recovery bras were great post mastectomy/reconstruction. I wear them still at night for support. My originals were pretty sad so I ordered a beige and a black. Both were “the same size”. Beige is too big and black is pretty snug. Comparing them to my 2020s, not even close. For the cost, I’d expect better quality control.Once they are opened, totally non refundable.

So supportive and good quality
I bought this for post surgery BA healing. My surgeon gave me one and I ordered an extra from here. If they’re good enough for my surgeon to hand out, they’re good enough to buy. I’ve been wearing them for 5 weeks now and they’re the most supportive of all my post surgery bras. There’s lots of room for adjustments as healing and swelling changes.
