I was pleasantly impressed with these bookends! They are well made (not lightweight or cheap), nice looking and sturdy. They easily hold up heavy books and do not slip around because of the 4 strong pads. Given the great price, I sort of expected them to be slightly cheap, but not so. Definitely recommend these bookends and will buy more now that I know they are so good.

They hold us some heavy books. Would definitely buy again if I need more. Also a nice design and not like a typical bookend. Now my bookcase looks a lot more organized!

I love these bookends. They’re very pretty and are perfect for paperback book collections or hardbacks that aren’t enormously heavy. I hoped to use these with my dictionary and copy of CMOS and other clunky editing books I use with my profession, but those books are too heavy for these. I can’t recommend them for 700+ page resource books, sadly. Included is a picture of a small number of classics I’ve collected so far, with a stapler for scale to help you get an idea of size. I will continue to use them with my lighter resource books and fiction titles.

Purchased the “2 pairs” of bookends twice. Both times received only one pair of bookends and had to return them. Description clearly states “(2 Pair/4 Pieces)”, so not sure where the disconnect is. Disappointed, but bookends themselves seemed ok.Edit: Seller reached out to help correct order, which I appreciate, but still frustrated by the experience. Bookends themselves are average size, but nice and solid. They have a pleasing design and don’t slip or slide since the feet actually go underneath the books.

I bought these for a few different book uses throughout our house. They work for children’s books, adult books and graphic novels. They offer a nice design that doesn’t cover the entire book but also doesn’t draw attention away. They are very sturdy, and have been holding a variety of differently weighted books. I haven’t had any issues with slipping or knocking over. I’ve bought multiple sets so far because I’m so pleased with how they hold up.

Simple, does the job, low price, blends in my bookcases, looks good. What's not to like about these bookends.
