Works great! Replaced one that had coils and older Sodastream adapter. HAPPY CUSTOMER!
THIS WORKS WONDERFULLY! I have it attached to a 50 lb CO2 bottle. The SAVINGS OF MAKING SODA AT HOME IS INCREDIBLE!! Not only the savings, BUT BETTER HEALTH-WISE (no aluminum) AS WELL AS BETTER ENVIRONMENTALLY (again, no aluminum). NO MORE SODA CAN DEPOSITS OR RETURNS TO MESS AROUND WITH.The CONVENIENCE, THE $ SAVINGS, the NOT HAVING TO RETURN OR DRINK FROM ALUMINUM CANS!! whew hoo!! We love our Sodastream. We are so glad for THIS DEVICE! It is made well. For those who are use to using the extremely small C02 bottle that is made for Sodastream; SAVE YOURSELF A BUNDLE & GET THIS DEVICE ALONG W/LARGER C02 BOTTLE!!

Works great to save a TON of money.
I'm used to the smaller cannisters from Sodastream, the ones which only get maybe 60 or so uses which make them much more expensive than advertised.Picked up this adapter to save money, and that it does. High quality and installation was extremely easy. Now I fill up a 5lb CO2 container for $23.50 from my local brewery shop which lasts me for at least a month to a month and a half. Prior to this I was using 5-6 of the $15 cannisters every month, you do the math.My only caveat was leaking. I found no evidence of leaking on this unit, I did the old spray detergent and look for bubbles routine and didn't find any. But I am still hesitant to fully trust it based on other reviews. The solution to my paranoia is quite simple, I just shut the CO2 tank off after every use.

Leaks after one month of use
I would love to rate this 5 stars because it was easy to install and worked really well for a bit. After about a month of once or twice a week use, gas started to leak at the "quick disconnect" adapter rendering it unusable. Disappointed as I really like my drinkmate and was excited to start saving money using a larger tank.

Works perfectly if you follow the directions
I read the reviews where others complained about leaking and other issues (mainly leaking). I set it up exactly as the meager directions indicated and have had no problems. And yes, you should always close the tank valve when not is use; that is just standard practice.I highly recommend buying the model with the pressure gauge. One of the complaints was that in the models w/o the gauge there was no way to drain the gas in the tubing before disconnecting. My model has a pressure relief screw (that can be easily finger tightened and loosened) in the gauge assembly.

This is a great product that saves me a lot of time and money!
This hose works as advertised. My sodastream is a little beat up from using the adapter for paintball CO2 tanks. So my sodastream's threads aren't perfect. It took a little time screwing in and unscrewing the hose end before it fit right snuggly into my sodastream without leaks. So you may have to fiddle with it a little bit, but mine works perfectly with no leaks and I do not shut off my tank between uses.If you're wondering if it would make financial sense for you to get one, my start-up costs were kind of high. I paid the cost of the hose plus $150 for a filled 20lb tank of CO2. Most of that cost is the tank deposit. Refills should be $30-40. So a 20lb refill costs less than returning 2 sodastream tanks at the grocery store and 2 sodastream tanks aren't even 2lbs! From here on out, I'm basically getting 19lbs of CO2 for free whenever I refill. And I probably won't have to refill for another 6-12 months! It is expensive to start out with this setup, but for me it's worth it. When I carbonate my water, I give it a lot of extra CO2 to make it extra bubbly. I never worry about wasting the CO2 or wondering if I'm going to have to shell out a ton of money at the grocery store for more sodastream tanks. This hose and a 20lb tank are perfect for me. So far it's my favorite Amazon purchase of 2021.Edit:On average, I carbonate 3 water bottles per day. My first CO2 tank lasted me 8 months. I refilled it today and the refill cost $47.

Works great for my soda stream. Not a perfect product but I'm happy with it.
WASHERS IN THE BAG ARE EXTRA:The washers that it comes with in the little bag are extras - this is not made clear in the instructions, so thanks for the other reviewers for pointing that out! Hopefully I won't ever need them, as I'd have no idea how to even replace those as they seem pretty tightly embedded in the tube connections.WHAT TO DO IF THE VALVE BEHIND THE GAUGE LEAKS:I got the newer version that's supposedly improved that comes with a gauge to show the pressure. Behind that gauge, there's a small circular valve you can twist with your fingers to release any pressure remaining in the tube. Make sure this is CLOSED tightly when you open your CO2 tank valve otherwise you'll just leak gas. Unfortunately this valve doesn't seal completely when it's tightened as much as possible, so I hear a slight leak. In order to not waste gas, whenever I use the sodastream now I open the tank valve, pump the sodastream 1-2 times, close the tank valve, and then continue pumping the sodastream until I use up all the remaining gas pressure in the tube. You'll see the gauge drop down back to 0 to confirm this, and the tubing also "relaxes". This way, no gas is wasted. You're supposed to close the tank valve anyways to be safe, so it's not that bad of an issue. That's why it's 4/5 stars. Once they come out with a completely leak proof system that will be 5 stars.
