Amazing Stuff for specific applications
I used this product to attach security film to the window frame, and before I used this I didn't understand why this particular product was needed, I do now. This stuff comes out like a think glue and will stick to anything. I have used many different types of caulking and liquid nails type products but this stuff takes it to the next level. Some advice: use painters or masking tape to limit where this stuff goes, and just in case make sure to have some mineral spirits handy as this is not water based, and will not wash off, as I found out the hard way (which was my fault, didn't read all the instructions)On the down side, this stuff is very expensive and as such is only used for very specific applications, but works very well for those applications.

The product did what was required .
We liked the product. It was the product specified for the project. It was used to install bullet poof glass in the doors for a school construction project.

Extremely durable
Used to seal the gaps in a broken sunroof. Car too old to justify fixing the sunroof so I sealed the cracks to avoid debris ingress and drainage issues. Black color matches almost perfectly, hard to tell it's been sealed even up close. Was able to get very nice seams using my finger as a smoothing tool. Consistency is very sticky and viscus out of the tube, had no issues controlling the material during application. Cure time is slow so give yourself some time to reach full strength. So far zero leaks, or tears.

bonds acrylic
I used this to bond Acrylic to aluminum frames on my replacement truck caps frameless window which they don't make anymore. they are slightly curved...so i bought some 1/8" thk smoked acrylic #2074.... CNC out the shape.. and cleaned all the busted glass off the frames scuffed the Acrylic just in the contact aria w/ sand paper, wipe w/ alcohol and put a bead down and then used file clips to hold it to the frame w/ its curved shape, wait 24 hrs peel the paper off, screwed it back on the cap and cant even tell the window was replaced.I used to use Sika 2 part system, but it was an involved process and expensive....this 995 is the way to go.

Industrial quality
This product - I am told - is used on high rise window installations. For my part It is superior to every other silicone product I have tried. It cannot be painted which is not a drawback if strength is in view- you just need to accommodate it with creative tape masking on your task.

Filling it with good silicone helps prevent that
Works well for filling the gap between windshield glass and surrounding on my truck. Gap traps dirt, saltwater, etc. that hastens rusting. Filling it with good silicone helps prevent that.

Very good product
This Dow 995 glaze is a quality product, it mated the 12mil security/hurricane film to my windows nicely. Pretty easy to apply and cured pretty decent.
