Dow Corning995 Silicone Structural Sealant - White by Dow Corning

I work in art glass and I use this to attach large glass panels to wood. It is what Bullseye recommends for mounting glass to anything. I've never had it fail for that. I've never used as sealant or for caulking.

There ahould be a cutting guide and tool added plus a cap for later use.

I used this in combination with some protective film to secure a few windows in our house. It was recommended that you put about a quarter inch bead around the edge of the protective film where it meets the window frame. I read in one review that they use this to secure windows in high rise buildings. It's pretty much like working with silicone caulk but the fumes are pretty strong. I read the list of chemicals and it doesn't sound like something you would want to be exposed to for very long. They recommend that you use it outside or in a well ventilated area. It took several days for it to really dry and for the odor to dissipate. It makes me feel safer though knowing it's there. It's not cheap.

I use this to hang custom mirrors on cleats. I adhere the cleat to the back of the mirror and hang it on the wall (3 agonizing weeks until it fully cures). This stuff is awesome. Took me several tries to master the formula (from Bullseye Glass on YouTube) and make it simple but now it goes pretty quickly. This product has never failed me and I use it for my business on expensive, high risk, and custom mirror projects. The only downside for my business, and the normal timelines, is the really long cure time. No hate, but peoples' eyes roll back in their heads, tho, when I tell them the mirror takes two weeks to be fabricated and then the adhesive takes three weeks to cure.
