Caribsea Arag-Alive Fiji Aquarium Sand, 10-Pound, Pink

Reputable brand of live sand I used to set up my 10 gallon reef. Well-packaged and no problems with tears in the bag. Great grain-size and color. Perfect for a reef tank!

The media could not be loaded. Fiji Pink is great for my seahorse tank and my 300 gallon FOWLR tank. It is a fine grain, but not too fine. It brightens up my tanks and cycles them much faster! Be sure to add the packet to the tank after getting the sand in. As far as vacuuming, I use the “swirl” method with this substrate. It is fine - so it will get sucked up in the vacuum. I swirl the vacuum near the sand and suck up what floats up. Then I rake the sand bed and vacuum again. Love this CaribSea substrate!

Have used this in both my saltwater reef tanks. You do not have to rinse it!!! If you do you kill any live bacteria that is in the sand!!! There is a packet in the bag you add after you add your sand & it will clear your water up… Make sure you run your skimmer & filters tho… It will help pull the stuff out quicker!

I bought the 10-lb bag in a hurry last time and didn't realize till later that the 10-lb. bag costs $22 and the 20-lb. bag of the same sand costs $14!

Used this product for years and was never disappointed- make sure you don’t bury the bacteria starter paket in the sand bed !!

It may have pink in it but they are so tiny you really can't see with the eyes but the sand is a pretty natural color and look good with my aquarium
