is this transparent or translucent? im looking to make a galaxy helmet and need transparent sheets

TL=translucent. this sheet was NOT transparent. you CANNOT see through it.

how will it hold up to direct sunlight?

i believe in time it will cloud up . no really fade , but sun is tough on things

Can you cut this with scissors?

Not in my experience. It is brittle and cracks if not cut right. You my drill and saw. When sawing use fine-tooth saw.

is this hard or flexible acrylic? What is the thickness?

Less then half inch thick and not flexible. It is hard cast.
