Spicy Gummy Hot Chilli Pepper Candy Challenge - Jalapeno, Habanero, Ghost

Looking at some of the other reviews, I seem to have gotten lucky getting the correct product/packaging.I wasn't sure if I should dock a star or not for the jalapeño portion having a couple "chunks" in it. At first I thought they were bits of jalapeño, but then I saw "jalapeño powder" in the ingredients list and realized it's from incomplete mixing. They were extra spicy, so I /almost/ consider it a bonus.The jalapeño portion is extremely mild. The habanero portion is still relatively mild. The ghost section bumps up the heat considerably, without getting crazy. It leaves a nice long burn as well.

Bought this for my step son. There is a mild, strong and really strong pepper flavoring to it. Mild is green apple, strong is orange, and really strong is cherry. When you open the package you can smell the cherry and heat. He ate right through the green apple not phased at all. The orange was a bit spicier and I tried the orange, I had to cough a couple times because of the spice and red, apparently creeps up on you. He thought he was all good until after a couple min of eating it and then he was downing milk and pie afterwards trying to calm the heat.

I ordered this after seeing it on the Food Network show “Chopped”. I loved it. It really is a very large gummy. Great flavors. It was so deliciously sweet and spicy — first sweet, then a big kick of spice would hit all at once. I decided to have my daughter try a piece of the mild green section about the size of my pinky nail. She was not amused. I ate the rest myself. The green part was actually hotter than the orange part. But damn... the red part. The red part had my mouth tingling for several minutes after eating it. After a few minutes, several glasses of milk, and a piece of bread, the heat dissipated. Until a few hours later. The ghost pepper, Carolina reaper, and scorpion pepper came back to rear their ugly heads while My daughter and I were out and about. All of a sudden, I could feel a distinct growling in my loins. At least it started as a growl... then it grew to a roar. “FIND A BATHROOM! NUMERO DOS, ANDALÉ!” I raced to the nearest loo, unleashing something more than ungodly from my bowels. I prayed for the sweet release of death to take me in its arms, right there in the Ulta restroom with my horrified daughter looking on. But that wasn’t the end of it. It would wreak havoc on my bowels for the remainder of the evening. Pissing out of my ass was an occurrence I was certain would be the norm for the rest of my life. Thankfully, I’m back to normal today, and ready to order another one.

Giving it 3 stars. It was okay. Definitely a little pricey for a gummy, but not too bad for the novelty of it. It was fun to eat with friends for the experience. As others have said, it wasn't really hot at all. I do have a pretty high heat tolerance, and eat spicy food a lot, so I didn't expect to be affected much by it, but it didn't even register. The green and yellow sections had zero heat, and the red only had a mild heat at the end. I expected this to at least be a little hotter. The gummy flavor was good though. Not great, but not terrible enough to give 1 star.

I was so looking forward to receiving this product to complete my hot! hot! birthday basket for my best friend. The package arrived dirty and yellow. The candy was all melted and you could barely make out it was a pepper. It looked more like a blob of colors. My biggest complaint besides the melting was the packaging. It was wrapped in clear plastic nothing like the package that is shown in the picture.

Starts off mild and as you make your way up the pepper it get much hotter. It's not a super killer hot, just nice spice.

Really cool for a theme party I had. (celebrating the chili pepper!)Some friends were too chicken and said, no way.Some opted to the milder green section. Said there was no heat. I agree.The orange, medium was tasty but not hot.The red... whooohooo! I can take heat and it WAS spicy! But, tasty! It was a bit smaller than I thought as a whole but price for what you get for the novelty is not too bad.I loved the idea of it and would order it again.A tip would be to place in fridge like I did before serving so it is easier to cut. colder gummies taste better anyways!It came fresh and undamaged.

I was a bit nervous ordering this because of the reviews and that some people did not receive a fresh gummy in proper packaging however I took a chance and I'm so glad I did. Spicy gummy did not disappoint. My friends and family got a huge laugh seeing me take on the spicy gummy challenge. The gummy was huge and tasty. Fresh and came in its proper package. Shipping was fast too.
