Cute functional pan
I saw cookies sold at a Korean market that were walnut-shaped and bought some out of curiosity. I enjoyed the so much that when I saw this mold pan, I figured why not try making them at home, especially since the market is over an hour away from my home. The quality of this pan felt good and I found it fairly easy to clean and use, getting the right amount of batter is tricky but it’s one of those you learn as you go situations. I’ve yet to master the flavor that I’m looking for but so far it’s not bad. I love the fun shapes of the walnut cookies and enjoy the use of this pan.

It was used
The press wasn’t in its box when it came, it was just wrapped in stretch foil and when I opened it there were signs of wear inside. There was spots that had dried dough not washed well, so i ordered a new one but i got used one and that’s kind of disappointing. Otherwise it works well.. cookies turned out great

Nice Mold Skillet but Pitted!
The item itself (the cookie-making skillet) is a nice idea, and I like the shapes of the walnuts and mushrooms. The handles are made of wood, which is great, so you can squeeze it shut without burning your fingers. It’s also nice that it has room for 16 cookies. However, the inside of the skillet isn’t that great. The metal doesn’t seem to be very good; it has pitting, and I worry about the safety of putting food in it. Maybe I just got a dud.If the metal were better, it would get 5-stars, but as it is, it only gets 3-stars.

Nice and well made
Before I saw this item I had never seen this style of a cookie pan or even the type of cookies. We love to bake so I decided to give it a shot.No instructions or recipes were included but not a problem as YouTube came through with lots of good info.It was a little tricky to get the feel at first - we burned a few cookies in the process of learning - but once we got it figured out that cookies came out great and were easy to fill and put together. In general they are recommended for gas stoves and we used ours on a glass electric cooktop so maybe that was part of our challenge but in the end we got great, delicious results. For sure it's more work than most other cookie recipes, but if you are up for it I definitely recommend this. It's heavy duty and well made.

Works okay
This worked okay. I think it may take some practice to perfect. The pan itself is heavy duty and the handle was fine.

Learning curve
So I have not come out of the learning curve on these yet! lolThe cookie maker is well made heavy and feels like something from an Amish store. If you have never made them before there is a serious learning curve and you should be prepared to make some mistakes because this is a pretty messy process in the learning. But it is also so much fun and when you produce a cute little shaped cookie it is really rewarding!

Not right design
Edges should be wider, because when you close and press the cookie dough is getting out and creates a real mess, but if it head wider edge it would not happen.
