When I first started using menstrual cups, I went through several different brands. The honeypot to me is the most comfortable and easy to use. I do rub some female lube around it before putting it in and it slips in easily. Just make sure that you turn it and it will adjust Inside of your body. This is a game changer for my monthly cycle and I no longer have to worry about leaking everywhere.

It definitely takes a while to get used to it but over all, this is definitely a safer alternative than your traditional feminine product. I can only clean it when I'm in my own bathroom because it can be a little messy and you do need to wash your hands before and after but I'm definitely a big fan.

Simple to use and comfortable

First off I love the company honeypot and everything it stands for ! However the cups are way to soft for me , I would experience leaking every cycle. At first I thought it was the size so I went from size 1 to size 2 but the leaking continued. Their cup varieties are also very limited : size 1 and size 2 . They also don’t mention the level of firmness for the cups, but after trial and error I realized the cups fall on the softer side and do not serve me. I am now in the process of ordering from peachlife their website has far more options they also give you the option to replace your cup for free with a new one if the cup you ordered doesn’t fit right - along with providing guidance about which cup is best for you .

I love my honey pot! It only took me 3 days to get the hang of it, I definitely recommend going on their site and watching videos on how to properly use it. The only down side is that when you take it out it can be a mess (but once I got the hang of it, I’m not as messy any more- they also recommended bringing a bottle of water with you to the bathroom if you don’t have a sink to rinse it off). When I pair this with period underwear (for those little leaks cause I knew I would mess it up the first time) I literally can’t tell I even am on my period. Also!!!! My period only lasted 3 DAYS!!! 3 DAYS! I read a review that said it cut their period short and I didn’t believe it but it actually did!!!! It makes me wonder what kind of chemicals the pad companies use, do they prolong periods?Anyway, I would recommend to anyone! Save yourself from the period hassle and save the environment!

I’ve had this product for 2 years now. I will be buying a new one from this brand as the cup is durable. No tearing, no spills when in used, and easy to clean.

Did you buy this product after exceptionally minimal research? Is this your first time using a menstrual cup? If your answers to those questions are yes, I’m assuming you’re here because you’re currently in complete agony from trying to pull it out in a fetal position on the floor. You’re looking at the reviews and praying for the sweet kiss of death because now you see it only has 3 stars on google. You question why you’ve done this to yourself as you begin doing childbirth breathing exercises you saw on Seinfeld once. Well that was me 15 minutes ago. Hey girl! We’re besties now! I’m gonna talk you through this one, you’ve got it! You’re going to have to pinch around the base and break the suction, AND GO SLOWLY! Move it back and forth, side to side, and gradually it will come out. No need to contemplate an ER visit anymore! Phew! I did a couple of practice runs after the sheer horror wore off and was able to successfully insert it and take it out, it just takes some patience and getting used to. It was very comfortable all day, and I don’t foresee another issue of this nature with it. Just remember to find your zen. Hope this helps 😁
