What I like... Bought these for my polar vortex 1200. I like that is it made specifically for korkers boots. Easy to change between regular soles and these carbide cleats. Bites onto the ice well just like my regular slip on cleats I have for my other regular boots. I chose to go with korkers so I can get these cleats made for it. The cleats are replaceable with a kit when they wear down.What I don't like... they are heavier than I thought they would be. Feels like a pound each or so, not 100% sure since I didn't weight them but it does have some weight to it. The sole are rather hard but is a flexible hard plastic. The clips on my soles don't quite line up perfectly, it's off by 1/16. Not enough for me to want to return for better ones but still off none the less.

To keep it short last winter; Had a real bad fall on some ice! the fall came very close to closing me my life. So I went looking for something i could wear that would give me confidence to walk on the snow and ice but also to keep me up right and give max for safety. Well I looked at a number of option until I came across these boots never new they existed and god sent I just happen to find these by accident! I AM SO THANKFUL I FOUND THESE BOOTS WORD CAN NOT DUE IT JUSTICE! NEVER NEW THESE EXISTED AND THEY ARE AWESOME! WITH THE INTERCHANGEABLE SOLES I CANT GO WRONG WITH THESE BOOTS! I NORMALLY TAKE A 9.5 /I HAD TO GO TO THE NEXT FULL SIZE WHICH WAS A 10 RELUCTANTLY I WENT FOR IT CAUSE THE ROUNDING IT up never works out for me ,to my surprise i ordered the size 10 ad they fit really good and i have not use them yet in snow or ice but i feel totally confident that these awsome boots will work just Ike i had it in my mind for something i was looking for never thought i find something like these boots; but I am happy as a pig in mud they do and happy as pig in mud I found them!!! Once it snows or we have ice i will write an. Updated , but I dont see writing anything more other the a better write up is all that is expected just seeing the quality of how well the boots are manufactured reels me all i needed to know!!! These soles work great in any stream, like having glue on your feet.
