I like how sturdy it is

like the sturdiness , and very sharp, can't wait to see if it cuts bone.

I had been wanting a cleaver for a while as I needed a good chopper for meat. This has a good weight to it and works like a charm. My carne asada now looks like it comes from a restaurant in addition to tasting like it.

LOVE IT! It has good weight. It feels good in the hand. It has good steel that I can sharpen to shave...(if I wanted to, that is) oil the handle with your choice of cooking oil and you have yourself one good looking cleaver! I have already cut up several chickens and also sliced onions, mushrooms, a banana for fun. The weight makes it easy to get a whole chicken down to size and can slice off thin pieces for snacking after being cooked.

The knife is suitable for demanding work like chopping meat and bones, and the angle's sharpness is about 35 - 40 degrees. It will not cut vegetables, soft veggies, or meat; it is meant to split wood logs or bones. If you have a sharpener with a precision sharpening angle, as I do, you could sharpen it to 16-18 degrees and have an all-around heavy slab cutting knife for anything you like to cut or slice. For the price, I can't complain; good to have around.

Very nice mostly solid knife. Handle has the slightest jiggle. Nothing that would deter me from buying more of these knives in fact I'll be looking into more today
