Spectracide Immunox Fungus Plus Insect, 1 Pack

I'm a master gardener who studied turfgrass and plant pathology in college. We were always taught that lawn fungicides could be preventive, but not curative. They needed to be applied in granular form before infection.That's an expensive pain unless you can identify the weather conditions that will lead to fungal growth and the specific areas of your lawn that will get it. Brown patch on fescue shows up almost overnight, so the conventional wisdom has always said "you snooze, you lose". This year, I snoozed, and the 6/20 photo above proves it. That mess appeared very suddenly.So I thought I'd try anything, even a product that claims to cure lawn fungus. I applied Immunox to areas of the lawn with severe brown patch when there was little wind and rain not in the forecast for 24 hours.Ten days later, the results are quite impressive, but I must add that weather conditions drastically improved in that time. We dropped into the low 80s and had rain for a week. Weather was a factor, but so was this product.This product works by inhibiting fungal growth before it kills the crowns of the plants, so it must be applied asap. I waited a week and as a result will probably have to reseed the worst spots this fall. I will apply more in 30 days, as advised by the tech rep I spoke to on the phone.Anyone who thinks this product can be used to control Japanese beetle grubs is dreaming. Those are not listed on the insects controlled and the product does not contain imidacloprid, the chemical used to kill grubs.READ THE ENTIRE LABEL BEFORE USING AND REVIEWING THIS PRODUCT, PLEASE!I did think the product packaging made it very easy to use and dispense, a nice even spray and no leakage. Makes a nice change from other hose-end spray products.I would like this made available as a fungicide only but I'm still delighted.

This stuff works! I was thinking I would need to resod my yard after last year's extreme heat in Houston. Decided to try fungicide to see if it would help. The first brand I bought emptied the bottle in 10 minutes so I went through multiple bottles with no sign of recovery. In desperation, I decided to try this brand and within a weeks time my grass started growing and its only gotten better. A couple of places I've had to spray twice bc there was absolutely no grass for years but now it's growing! Even in spots where I didn't think it was needed, I sprayed and my grass is thicker and healthier.

Liked brand. Sprayed on front and back yard. It's working slower than usual because of the hot and humid weather. Hopefully it will adhere to the grass and roots.

I've used many fungicide in my many years of turf management. This one is very interesting. I'd say that it works better as a pre treatment to prevent fungus rather than a post application. I can't speak for the insecticide side of the application, but I definitely think the fungicide is great for avoiding lawn fungus.

This immunoX spray fixed a multitude of problems in our yard. We could not go back into our yard near the woods without being attacked by chiggers during the summer. Also, my crêpe myrtles were suffering from a leaf fungus. Application of this spray got rid of the jiggers and also the leaf fungus, which was on my crêpe myrtles. The spray is extremely strong and can be sprayed across and approximately 25 yard distance. The downside of this powerful spray is that the bottle becomes empty quite quickly. Working fast with it and spraying it quickly will make it more functional and cover a wider area. The chigger problem was solved for approximately 3 to 4 weeks in the summer, which is huge and allowed us to use our backyard

I am not comfortable sending this back. I am not sure if the bottle is leaking. The plastic bag was full of fluid on arrival.

Not even sure what's up with my Colorado lawn but I had the whole thing replaced and the new lawn was struggling. Brought in some specialists and they suspected some type of fungus or insect issue. Very helpful I know. But after paying for some treatments I wasn't very happy watching them spend about 2 min walking around with their sprayers vs the money I was spending every month. On top of that it wasn't really helping the lawn much.I tried a couple of different types of sprays on different parts of the lawn along with making sure it was generally well cared for otherwise. This one seems to take care of the whatever the issue is, and I spray the main areas 2-3 times during the green seasons. The sprayer is really easy to use, just connect it to your hose and flip the top over to spray. There often seems to be a couple of oz at the bottom that won't come out but I just dump it into the next bottle to avoid the waste.The spray hasn't affected any of the other ornamental plants or trees in the yard. Use the proper protection (I use eye, face, and gloves) and generally spray on days without too much wind. Overall the impact may vary based on what your lawn/garden's specific issues are but I've stocked up on this and found it very effective over the 4-5 years I've been using it.
