PunkyColour Lightning Fast 40 Vol Bleach Kit

- the product, with one exception, was excellent; great coloring (my hair is naturally dark brown and it turned it extremely blonde)- holy crap but this stuff is STRONG; because of the color of my hair and its natural resistance to change, I'm used to leaving a bleach or dye on 5-10 minutes longer than the bare minimum; don't do that with this; I left it on for 15 minutes, with the first five minutes using a hair dryer; at 10 it started to get a little warm; if I'd left it on more than 15 minutes, I think I would have burned my scalp- so, very good product, definitely worth the money (I've already ordered another box to do my roots in a month or so) but when it says "lightning fast" it MEANS "lightning fast"

I got this to bleach out my bangs, and divided all the contents in 2 so I got two uses out of it. :) It's 40 volume bleach so it did exactly what it was supposed to. My hair is WHITE. But use with caution of course, if you don't know what you're doing.

I've been using punky color hair dye for a coupke of years now and like it so much that I decided to try this bleach kit as well to prepare my hair for the next round. I'm not sure if it was old or what but the powder was clumpy and would not break up. I used it anyway, hoping the developer would dissolve the clumps-no joy. The result was little blue clumps of bleach in my hair and all over my bathroom, but it did bleach my hair successfully, in less time and thus with less damage than other 40 volume bleach knits I've used.Unfortunately the clumps meant it didn't go as far as it should have, so I wasn't able to get the bleached all the way through my hair, but the parts that did work were great. It even took out some of the green I did the first time I colored my hair and which kept coming through however many times I bleached and colored over it.It worked well enough that I'd be willing to give it a second shot and hope I get a better or fresher batch. 3 stars until then.

Save your hair. This is not fast acting for 40 v on blond gair.Sadly mine should have been as light as that pi tured. To my dismay an hour later the undertones I bought it for remained.Buy pro bleach or another kind. I'm waiting for my hair to recover. Im not a novice.

I absolutely love this hair dye. It's one of the only ones I have it's so good to my hair. If you haven't tried it you should so good for the price! And have I mentioned smells fantastic !
