Favorite Flashlight - Love it So Much I Got an Extra
This flashlight is small but mighty. Very bright foe the size at 140 lumens. Metal body, it has some weight to it but isn't too heavy. Love that it takes just 1 regular AA battery and not expensive CR123 Lithium Batteries. I use to when I take my dog for a walk at night. I liked it so much that I bought a second one as a back up. Highly recommended.

Decent EDC
Have several of these.Clean bright white beam. The 3 settings are a nice feature. The dimmer setting does add life span to the battery. (FWIW I use only quality lithium. They hold up best in a wider temperature range. Along with a more stable power supply for the LED chip.)The brightest setting is just that, bright. Blinding, painful if viewed directly, even if being reflected. The strobe can be used in emergencies as an attention getting signal. But don't rule it out in a "tactical" situation.Last but not least. The cut out in the ridge that surrounds the end cap on/off button is a nice feature. Much easier, for my older thumb to access it.The button itself is not hard at all to trigger, while not being at all "mushy".The strobe is nice for emergency

It's a nice, well-designed flashlight
It works well for use around the house (electrical repairs when the circuit breaker is off, finding stuff in the bins in the dark garage, etc). It's not "too bright", which would be uncomfortable for use around the house. The lanyard hole is easily accessible and doesn't get in the way. The hat brim clip works (though the light is a bit heavy, depending on how well the hat fits). The only problem I've found is that the light gets warm to the touch after a few minutes of use. That's not a problem, but it makes me think that the electronics are inefficient and will cause the battery to flatten quickly. I haven't yet used it long enough to see how warm it will get.

I recommend.
I have at least5 different modelsof energizer flash lights and I really like the quality.

Priced right
I like this flashlight because it’s priced right, durable and lights up a room just fine. For someone who doesn’t need 1000 lumens it works great. And I didn’t want a rechargeable flashlight because they seem to die out when needed, so I can pop a rechargeable battery in it and be back in business

Excellent value for what it is -- a 1 AA flashlight
This flashlight is an excellent value for what it is, an inexpensive (<$10), water resistant (not waterproof), small unit powered by a single AA battery. Not the brightest and it isn't IPX7 rated, but if you want a small EDC light that runs on a battery you can find almost anywhere, it is a good choice. The specs state the LED is biased at 900mW so the runtime won't be great with an alkaline cell; use a lithium AA if you want a longer runtime.

Not great, but decently bright for a pocket light
This flashlight isn't great, not even really good. It's not going in an emergency kit for the car or something you'll want to depend on as your only source of light. But it is faily thin, lightweight, and gives a usable amount of light. There are really just two issues that prevent me from giving more than three stars. One, there is no zoom at all, which is a feature I use quite a bit on my other everyday flashlights and prevents this from ever being my primary. And two, the beam is terrible. There's an uneven and blotchy bright spot in the center 10-15% of the beam with a huge dim halo around it. It's just not a great design. If the spotlight portion was a consistent brightness with well defined edges, I could accept it. If it had better brightness in the flood halo, that'd be really useful. But the beam on this is just plain terrible. It's hard to focus on things in the spot because it's blotchy and uneven light, and the flood zone is too dim to be useful beyond basic object recognition. No reading with this or doing detail work.I'm not unhappy enough to return this, but it's going to be spending its time mostly as a backup light in my jacket pocket when I'm walking the dog or out fishing.
