Authoritative, definitive.
A terrific source for a true understanding of Marxist philosophy.

More than I expected
A very complex book with a lot of economy theorems. It's gonna take patience and a notebook

Help! Where is the Utopia bit? Cant find it and I want my utopia!
Way. denser and more confusing than I recalled from college. I was looking for the utpoia section where the dialectic culminates. Couldn't find it. If there are any Marxist scholars out there willing to share the secret i` would be most thankful!

Zero use value
I bought this edition of Capital expecting a faithful reproduction of the text, but what I received is essentially useless. The typesetting is poor: footnotes are not properly referenced in the text, and when you search for them, they’re simply missing. In Marx’s own terms, this edition has zero use-value. It cannot serve its function as a study text; it only sits on the shelf as a symbol. In fact, it feels like a perfect case of adulteration: the publisher has cut corners, stripped out essential elements, and sold a degraded product at full price. A work devoted to exposing exploitation has here been exploited itself. Avoid it at all costs.

Not the best translation despite cheap price...
Small print somewhat difficult to read, worse translation than the Penguin one.

Nearly useless
The footnotes have been left out as have the essential prefaces that explain the dialectical method Marx used. No list of contents, no index. A cheapo, crap edition. Nearly useless.
