This is an immediate solution. We put this on our furniture and our cat has never scratched it again. It’s clear so not very noticeable. Easy to remove from fabric furniture I don’t recommend this for leather like furniture it could pull off the material if it’s an older piece.

These are an absolute must have, if your cats scratch the furniture. Much easier to use than double-sided tape. Caution: when installing, stick one side to the furniture first, then peel off the outside backing. This will give you nearly flawless application.

I got a new couch and I have three cats two of them are young. I put these in the spots where they scratch the most and they work really well deterring them from scratching. Super easy to cut and shape to the area that you need to cover. The only issue is it is double-sided tape and they do wear off after a while so my couch is now getting destroyed again, but I did re-purchase because they worked so well.

It sort of worked but my cat quickly got over the sticky feeling and just walked on it no problem. When I removed from my counter it left a very sticky residue that had to be removed with goo gone. To be expected but still not pleasant considering it didn't phase my cat, maybe it would work better on furniture but not for us

Just clear plastic sheets. Not scratching material. I expected the ridged scratching material. I guess the plastic is suppose to be a deterrent but it didn't deter my cat.

My cat uses this to scratch instead of the furniture. She really likes using it. Glad I got it.If your cat hesitates, drop a little cat nip on it. My cat uses it with or without cat nip.You can see how much it is used in the picture.

I only had to use 1 sheet. I rubbed against it and my pants leg stuck to it.
