Quick seam ripping! It leaves behind lots of thread debris but that is easily removed with a lint roller.

I heard this was better for tearing out boo boos in minky fabric. It's true. Works well and fast. A regular seam ripper can grab the wrong thread and tear the fabric. not to mention tedious. This works so well and fast that I was worried about it cutting a hole in the minky project, but so far, all good. Since that fabric does have a mind of its own, this is essential. Wish I had it last year sewing many baby quilts and cloths. Could have really used it when I was so frustrated and being so careful, only to have the seam off when done!

These are great for opening up seams on jeans or other long upcycling projects!!!

This product idea as a seam ripper is AMAZING. I decided to try it out on a quilting project I was just starting. For the first few quilting seam tear-outs the product worked great. I almost bought a few more just based on how efficiently and smoothly the seam ripper worked. But I didn't get more than a few uses out of it. I'm not an expert quilter, but I'm also not too shabby, so I don't typically have to remove seams all that often, but I'm not even finished with the quilt yet, and the blade in the seam ripper is already so dull that the product is worthless. I'd like to believe I could buy another one and have a different outcome, but . . .

Saw this on someone's video..... LOVE IT..... Makes the frustration of ripping out a seam so much easier!!!!! Will always have one now that I have used it ♡

This won’t replace my usual surgical seam ripper, but is a good addition to the group of tools I keep next to my sewing machine. This works great and is very handy for opening long seams.

Quickly and safely removes threads that hold seams together. Much better than a seam ripper for long seams that need to be removed. Use it when borders or bindings need to be removed.
