Cyber Scents MAC Paint Pot Painterly

Bought this after seeing it used by make up artist as an eye primer and really happy with it. My eyeshadow stays put and lasts all day.

I used to use this 15 years ago and I had forgotten how good it was. It’s easy to apply and works better than any other primer I’ve used. I no longer have raccoon eyes by the end of the day! It also doubles as a neutral, light eyeshadow on days you just want light and natural makeup.

For those that have used the MAC Paint Pot you know - it is a staple in your make-up bag that you cannot do without. Unfortunately, when visiting stores to find this gem more than not it is OUT OF STOCK - Again!! Now I just hop on Amazon and have been able to have it delivered quickly each and every time.For those who haven't used the MAC Paint Pot - what should you expect? This eye shadow primer is a creamy, neutral base that allows your powder eye-shadow to be easily applied and guaranteed to stay in place until you remove it. It also allows for perfect blending. There are days where I just use the primer and a little liner which for a very casual look. You can expect to get a good 4-6 months worth of product in this little jar.

This product lasts a long time. Provides a good base for under eye makeup. Goes on smooth and creamy

Seems to be a good product! Lasts on my lid; doesn’t make my eyes burn as some eye products do; good coverage. However, I ordered painterly and after putting on the product and thinking the color wasn’t as expected, I noticed that I was sent the wrong color. I ordered “painterly” and got “soft ochre”

I Ordered this product to use as an eye primer. I have sensitive eyes and have not found a primer that doesn't irritate them. I had read about people using this product with success but tried to find a cheaper (drugstore) option. I wasted a lot of money looking for another way. This not only does the job well, but there is no irritation, and it actually feels comfortable on the eyes. I love it.

I purchased this Dec 2023 and am slightly over 50 years of age. I wear matte eye shadow. I have worked from home for over 10 years, and am on daily zoom / Google meets and apply this daily. I find for me I put in on about ten mins after my shower let it sit just minute or two and then apply any shadow I wear for the day. On weekends for a quick errand I will can wear this alone quick lipstick touch of mascara and out the door. I recommend, little is all you need. I lightly apply with pad of my right ring finger. I also have a small brown spot on my upper cheek and a tiny dap covers it. I recommend the purchase. You may hesitate based on the cost but I think you will be impressed too.

I use this as a smooth base to erase veins on my eyelids. Depending on mood and how much time I have, I will either top it with powdered eyeshadows or use it alone as the lighter shade with a darker MAC paint pot in “Groundwork”. MAC paint pots are easy and are very forgiving with someone like me who often struggles to get the eye look right.
