HIGH QUALITY, HEAVY DUTY, EASY TO INSTALL
Excellent product. Heavy duty, high quality, perfect in every way -- EXCEPT FOR THE CHEAP PHILLIPS SCREWS THEY SUPPLIED TO FASTEN THE CASTOR ASSEMBLY TO THE WORKBENCH LEG. THE PHILLIPS BIT SPUN OUT AND STRIPPED EACH SCREW BEFORE IT HAD PENETRATED MORE THAN THREE TURNS INTO THE WOODEN LEG.After three attempts with screws I instead bought 1/4" bolts and through-bolted the castors to the legs. Much better solution. Worked perfectly and the four bolts are much more secure than the six Phillips screws would have been. The foot actuated lever action used to raise each table leg works smoothly and easily. This work bench is 4' x 8' x 5' tall and weighs 600 to 800 lbs.It glides easily on the castors.Highly recommended.

Excellent product, good value
I just installed these yesterday on my wife's gardening workbench. They work very well. Before buying them, I was concerned about how much effort/force it would take to bring the lever down that lifts each leg. But, after installing them, I found that it was reasonable. Engaging and disengaging the casters does not take that much effort. Two notes that I think are worth mentioning:(1) When you release a caster by lifting the lever up, you might want to consider simultaneously holding the table at that point while it lowers. Otherwise, for heavy items (my wife's workbench is one such item), it can slam down pretty quickly. May not be a problem for you -- it would depend on what you have on the bench.(2) One of the videos recommends NOT trimming the bottom of the template card off before using it. (It's about 3/16" or so). I agree with this recommendation (I also did not trim it.) By trimming it you bring the mounting bracket closer to the floor which will result in the caster lifting the bench higher when it is engaged. This results in the items on the table temporarily being subjected to more of an angle as you engage each caster. Depending on the stability of the items on the table, this could result in some things tipping over.Although I have only one day of experience, this appears to be a great product. Seems to be a better value than other retractable casters available - costs less and supports more weight. Also comes with two little wrenches to lock down the bolts and nuts included with the kit. All you need is a drill and a Phillips head screwdriver or power driver. These took me about an hour to install. Others have done it faster but I'm a bit of a fussbudget -- needed to understand things before proceeding (a blessing and a curse). The screw fasters on the bottom of each mounting bracket end up being pretty close to the floor and therefore a little challenging to install (assuming you have to install with the table/bench in place without inverting it). I wouldn't call it a "snap" to install but it was indeed quite straightforward.I would/will buy these again for other applications if they come up.

Pleasantly surprised, four Stars with a caveat
I will start out by saying that if I took every review to heart, I would never order anything! Such is the case with these casters. I have learned that many negative reviews are the result of buyer’s remorse or simply ignorance of how something should work.I built a heavy workbench using pressure-treated 4x4 with ¾” plywood top and shelf. These casters have worked extremely well in allowing me to move it around my garage despite the complaints of some reviewers. I will explain briefly how they should mount and some tips to make things easier.1) First of all – buy the larger casters even if you think you don’t need them! They have more weight capacity and because the wheels are larger, they will roll over irregular surfaces or doorway transitions a lot easier. Why do things on the cheap and then wonder why it didn’t work out?2) Throw away the screws that come with the casters! (That’s the caveat) They are not strong enough and are very short. I used 2-1/2” DeckMate screws. These things aren’t going anywhere.3) Regarding the bolts that are supplied – I read a few complaints that they break when tightened and that it’s too hard to tell which bolt goes where. Well, since the brackets are stepped, it is a no-brainer to tell where the longer bolts go and where the shorter bolts go.If you are breaking the bolts when tightening, then you are OVER-tightening them! They shouldn’t be tight since the brackets have to pivot. They come with lock nuts; they aren’t going to fall off.4) The supplied template worked great regarding the mounting height. Just remember, the bottom of the template is not the starting point, the line on the template is. If you are uncertain, try it on a scrap piece of wood first.5) Casters are designed to be mounted on a VERTICLE surface! A few folks have whined that they didn’t work right after being mounted on something with slanted legs. There is no mystery here - vertical surfaces only – don’t be a doofus!6) Lastly, I connected my casters with a step which makes things easier and more stable – one step raises each end of the table instead of having to step on all four casters. In summary, these things work great. Don’t cheap out, buy bigger. Throw out the Chinese screws that are included. You won’t be disappointed.

Very solid...work great
I'm sure I didn't put up to 800 lbs on these but my workbench is quite heavy and these worked great..Bought 2 sets...would buy again

Excellent quality
Easy to install, excellent quality, easy maneuverability. My only nitpick would be that under the foot lever saw dust is collected as it can't drop out the bottom to the floor.

Richtig herum zusammenbauen

The media could not be loaded. 👍
