I bought this rope to prepare for Army training. I was able to climb a ladder and get some webbing above two top chords of my trusses, hanging in between the two. In the picture attached, the top of the rope is at about 15 feet, which is the minimum standard for an Army rope climb. I bought a 20 foot rope to regularly climb above that standard, but it wasn't quite 20 ft (though I didn't anchor one side and truly stretch the rope out).There is some shedding, and a slight smell to it, but nothing too offensive. It seems like it will hold up well. As soon as I hung it, I climbed to the top in shorts and regular UA tennis shoes with no issues (previously I could only climb using boots with rugged soles). It does seem as though it will stretch out over time.It will only be inside my barn so I won't know how it will hold up to rain and snow.I gave it 5 stars because it arrived quick, I was able to hang it in an hour or so, and was able to immediately climb it. My kids and I will get a lot of fun out of it.

We purchased this for our new shop to provide a place to get a little extra strength training. It has provided hours of entertainment! Just like gym class in the 80's. Be sure to order some climbing gloves of some sort as your hands take a beating coming back down if you are not careful. If you are going to tie knots in it take that into consideration on the length!

I bought this to practice my j-hook for an OCR. It was Perfect!! Easy to hang. Well constructed. Soft on the hands, yet durable. Great price. Great find. Thank you!

I've had this climbing rope for over a year and it has held up well. It's a fun exercise to add to your routine.

I get a new one every year, more for safety than quality. I leave out in a tree in backyard for OCR training. I find that the bottom frays apart about 6-8 months of use. I generally find mushrooms growing on the top at the end of year, which is why I buy a new one versus risking it breaking while I am 15 feet up.

I’m probably the only person that actually measured but the description even says 236 inches which is at least close to 20ft what I received is no where near it. Otherwise quality seems good.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been anxious to get a climbing rope set up in my metal barn. I have an 1 1/4” steel pipe and Steeltek cups from Lowe’s through the steel loop . The loop is at 15’ and the rope actually hangs on the floor by a few inches. Lots of grip, glad I went with this one

We utilize these for our gym and they do a great job. For the price you can’t beat it. Highly recommend and attaches to our rig via carabiner.
