I bought this so my large dog would have a step up to my high bed. It worked great for that, and the storage was fantastic for blankets or whatever random things I could think of. I wouldn't suggest putting anything with much weight in it unless you won't be moving it, since the bottom isn't extremely sturdy, but if you're just sliding it or leaving it in one place it could hold pretty much anything.Ultimately, I had to write a less-than-perfect review because I put my knee on it and leaned one day, putting my weight (around 200 lbs) on my knee, and the top broke. It still looked fine and my dog could use it without it buckling, but I eventually threw it away because I couldn't use it to sit on anymore. The description says it can take up to 350 lbs, and while I believe it would if the weight were spread out, I think leaning or stepping on an ottoman is common enough that it shouldn't have broken with significantly less than the maximum weight on it.

I received this item today. I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect size to store all my bedsheets in it and it looks really nice in my bedroom.

The media could not be loaded. It’s great! I honestly didn’t expect it to be collapsible so when it took me less than 60 seconds to assemble, that was a pleasant surprise! xD•collapsible walls/base •bottom insert to make it non-collapsible •pop on the lid. Simple as that!Perfect match for the white furniture in my beauty studio. I needed something affordable, pretty, and convenient for my clients to sit on, with storage to hold any client blankies/other comfortable things for when the studio gets chilly. This does exactly that:)My only concern would be for more heavy-set individuals sitting on it. I’m rather tall and I weigh 175lbs. It did make a cracking noise when I sat on it, but I found out immediately that it was because I didn’t have the lid on all the way. So the noise I heard was the lid settling into place after I sat on it. I wiggled all around and it seems pretty sturdy for a polite, cautious, regular seating.I think as long as no one’s just dropping down on it with excessive force, dancing & laying around on it it’ll hold up well.All-in-all, a great temporary solution until I can afford a sturdier one! Super pretty. Great for a home/less-frequent sitting.<3

I use to store blankets in the living room. Small but ok for what I use it for. Color is accurate. Pretty stable. Not for sitting for long periods of time.
