Dell Inspiron Desktop 3880 - Intel Core i3 10th Gen, 8GB Memory, 1 TB Drive, Windows 10 Home - Black

This small sized desktop packs a punch with decent memory including a T byte hardrive at an affordable price ($399). It comes with a wired keyboard and mouse but I had an existing wireless system that I used instead since I use my big screen TV as my monitor across the room. Its not 100% silent but the noise is whisper quiet. Besides being relatively light, to takes about as much room as a DVR or an an old VCR. I will definitely fit on a bookshelf. You get 4 USB ports in the front and I think a couple in the back. It also has a DVD drive in the front, but its the flimsy type of get on a lap top (but it works). It also has an HDMI port in the back for hooking it up to a your TV (which was critical for me, as not all lower priced machines have this port). This Dell comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 but has also has other pre-loaded software you may not want (i.e. 365 Office, MacAffe sercurity and other misc. programs). I had Best Buy Geek Squad do a remote service session to eliminate these add on programs, and then install Student Office (non-subscription), Best Buy Webroot security and make Crome (as the machine was relentless in trying to make you choose MS Edge as your browser. The remote session ended in a complete and thorough tune up that allowed the computer run at optimal speed (which was now very fast).Best Buy Geek Squad is a priceless yearly subscription for $99 for all those computer dummies who don't have a clue on how to do the above. No question is a wrong one, as they will answer and fix any issue. This along with being able to schedule remote sessions for tune ups to clean up your machine, defrag your hard drive so it will always run at full speed.I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it for all those who plan on using it as is; without making any hardware upgrades. It runs fast and smooth and is dependable.

This is my second one. This one arrived with the power supply not installed correctly and allowed to rotate while shipping, bending the grated end of the supply. Was able to disassemble and bend it back in place. Well designed quick release mounting but was simply not installed right, expect more quality from Dell.In the end it was not broken the power led even works, expected that to be ripped from the PCB.Nice small machine, has a pcie slot if you want to put a card in it. Lots of potential uses, very good bang for the buck.

Description said unit included a DVD drive. The Dell 3880 I received does not have a DVD drive.Problem was promptly corrected by seller.

The CMOS battery was dead. The PC is fine. I started a return and then cancelled it because I needed the PC to be in place and working, so I changed out the CMOS battery and installed and set it up.

Definitely a good PC for light gaming, which is what I mainly bought it for. I don't know how it'd be with more in-depth games, but it works great for Roblox and Minecraft. Overall, a very good computer if you don't intend to do anything too drastic on it. Haven't had any issues for past couple weeks with it so far. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a casual PC!

So far after 4 days I'm liking this machine. The disk-drive drawer is flimsy, seems cheap and like those found on a laptop, but it's sufficient and fine for me. There's what I need so far.

With a new hard drive still had read write problems was very slow. Thinking something was wrong with the SATA interface. I bought a Samsung 970 EVO NVME M.2. Now computer works fast like it should.

Product not as advertised - no disc drive, no firewall (preventing installation of programs). External drive cheap and worked poorly. Windows program would not install updates and had not been updated in over 365 days. Unit runs very slow. I believe that this was old inventory not what I ordered.
