The idea is great and although it is very rigid when set there is a problem with itthe standard tripod screw has no means of locking the accessory tightly so a flash gun can rotate on the screw even with the supplied locking ring as tight as you can do it by hand ore the whole arm can rotate on the mounting point

Having bought an overhead rig I needed to get (in this case) both a microphone and camera attached to it. In the photo you’ll see 2 sizes of arm next to each other for comparison. The quality of the kit is really good. Everything about it feels solid. These arms are multi functional with a wide range of adjustment. I’m pleased with the purchase.

Bought this as a trial and was pleasantly surprised. A reasonable price for a high quality item. I did initially struggle with the tightening mechanism, not figuring out how I could just tighten the end piece, before realising everything goes tight using the one lever mechanism for all joints. Once I know this - its a great little product and the clamp was easy to use as well. It's one of those products where I feel like I also should have a spare... even if I don't have an immediate use for it...just in case I feel the need to clamp something else on... somewhere... somehow. Highly recommended!
