The Holy Grail of Hand Soaps...except for one thing.
This is the best hand soap that I've ever used. It's nourishing, moisturizing, beautifully scented, and the lovely label gives it a 'rich' look sitting by a bathroom sink. The soap lathers wonderfully and leaves my hands so soft that I don't need hand lotion after every handwashing. For me, this is a luxury item due to the price, but a little goes a long, long way. Plus, the bottle size is very generous. Also, I ordered the refills for this hand soap, along with 3 other scents of this brand's hand soaps, shower gels, and body lotions. I love that this product line is made in France, and I highly recommend this hand soap for those that don't take issue with the following paragraph. The only con to this hand soap and brand is that they aren't cruelty-free. If that's a deal killer for you, this product is not for you. I have a moral dilemma when I spend money on items that aren't cruelty-free. If the manufacturer of this fine product line reads these reviews, please, please, please make your products without testing on animals. It isn't necessary because there are other ways to test products without torturing animals. I really love your product line, but I won't be making future purchases from this brand, aside from what I've already purchased, until this brand goes cruelty-free.

Get it out of the box see 'NOTE' in review - It's moisturizing
These soaps are moisturizing! Quit spending your money on foam pump styled soaps which dry out your skin. Absolutely worth the cost the fragrances are pure. They linger but do not overwhelm. NOTE: When you first open the box you may feel like what have a done?! The scent is strong! But the soap has been cooped up in a box and once it is out it will be different. Do not judge too quickly. I was concerned at first but once I put it on the counter and started to use it was all I had hoped and more.

Amazing soap. Horrible dispenser.
First, I love this hand soap. I first bought it years ago, it is by leaps and bounds my favorite hand soap. The exfoliating texture, the subtle, natural scent, the way my hands feel afterward, it's just perfect.Second, a little bit goes a long way, and one bottle will last you longer than you would assume, so it's really not as expensive as you might think.Third, just to clarify, this review is specifically for the exfoliating honey hand wash. This is a unique soap and it is unique even relative to the other Panier des Sens' hand soaps that you can buy on the same page. It is a unique hand soap and I have never used anything else like it.Fourth, the dispenser it comes with is trash. It thins the soap's texture slightly and it filters out the exfoliating pumice stone bits. Then, the exfoliating bits permanently clog the dispenser and it no longer works without a lot of effort. For the record, I first bought this soap years ago and the dispenser was OK even tho it occasionally became a little clogged; however I bought again more recently and the dispenser only lasted about two months before I had to stop using it and physically open the cap whenever I had to watch my hands.Fifth, I have seen other recent reviews reporting the same, so it's not just me. The new dispensers are trash. This soap is better than you would find at a five star hotel, but it comes packaged in a cheap, quasi functioning plastic dispenser that simply has a nice label on it. It's a shame that they went all out on the soap but then cheaped out so much on the dispenser.Sixth, it took me way too long to realize that I could simply buy a refillable soap dispenser and use that instead. So I am back to loving the soap, but they either need to fix the dispensers or they need to sell the soap as a refill.

Nice floral scent.
The scent is soft and beautiful. It makes you want to sniff your hands all day. Works fine to keep them smooth.

Pump shoots soap forward! Yuk!
The label is beautiful, and it matches my French rose litho in my bathroom, BUT. The pump squirts outward and not down into a hand! So when you have guests they get soap shooting onto their forearm. I wish I could find one that fits the bottle and works better, but I have to put out other soap for guests 😲.The soap has a strong rose smell which is pleasant, but that pump ruins everything.

The softests hands
A really nice hand soap, it is very liquid and a little goes a long way, less than half a pump is sufficient to fully lather your hands. The scent (orange) didn't blow me away, it is nice, pleasant, and veeeeery faint so I couldn't even figure out if I liked it or not, the added fragrance quickly fades away to reveal the classic Marseille Soap smell that we all know, that is if you've ever used the classic block form. The only caveat is that this Marseille soap scent does linger for a quite a while in your hands, not a terrible thing, but as someone who grew up in Europe, the scent reminds me of laundry day, when my mom or my grandma would pull out the Marseille block to tackle the toughest stains. Not a bad thing if you like it, but it simply makes me feel like I smell like laundry. Nevertheless, I will likely buy it again and try a different fragrance since I must say it left my hands feeling extremely soft and hydrated as opposed to the "stripped and dry" feeling I get from using drug store, or even Bath and Bodyworks, gel soaps. I have even considered using it as a body wash because my skin feels amazing. Finally, it is a bit expensive and would see more value in it being priced closer to $10 than $20. However, a little does go a long a way and it is in fact an imported product, so if you're okay with smelling like Marseille soap after washing your hands, I would imagine this will last anywhere from 3 to 6 months depending on your bathroom's traffic, so it's not a terrible deal either.
