12 Non-GMO, Organic - Jersey Knight Male Asparagus 2 Year Old Crown Roots

Bought this asparagus roots, they arrived after 3 days, nice size and well alive. I planted them the day afterafter soaking in water for one night and in two weeks the most part where already sprouting, I hope the rest will follow soon. I will wait until next year to see if they will survive and how they will develop and eventually I will update this post

When I received the asparagus crowns they were covered with mold and the ends of the roots were rotten. Two of the twelve crowns showed sign of life but they definitely weren't healthy. Unfortunately this item isn't returnable so BUYER BEWARE!

I was VERY skeptical about ordering plants on Amazon but they arrived on time and all seemed healthy. It's been a couple of weeks and almost every crown has a stalk growing so I have no complaints so far!

Arrived yesterday, they look like really great tubers, there was a little bit of mold on some of the roots but I don't think that's an issue I think it's better that they were kept wet than left to dry out.I cleaned them, soaked them and they are in the ground! Will update in a couple weeks!

I received 11 roots, not 12 as promised. There was a twelfth one which was so small it was barely anything at all. The best roots were good quality. Beware buying from Hand Picked Nursery through a third party--in which they don't put the care into what they sell. I've bought from that company direct, they are expensive (shipping cost is a killer), but the quality is there plus they send some extra plants.

A little difficult to plant but are growing already!
