We have some painted shelves in our bathroom and over the years, the contents of some containers have run down the outside of the container after dispensing. This would eat into the painted shelf. I repainted the shelves and wanted to prevent that problem in the future. I cut this product to fit with a straight edge and a razor knife. A good pair of scissors also works. I laid them on the shelf and sat some objects on top to flatten them. A short while later I removed the objects and blew a hot hair dryer on them to remove any remaining curve from having been rolled up for shipping. It seems like a durable material.

All good, eaSY TO CUT AND LAY

This is a great liner,heavy duty. Put it in my pots and pans cupboard. However there is hardly any liner on the roll. I could only do the one cupboard. So really not the greatest value for the money.

Believe it or not, I am using this to line the shelves in my refrigerator. Its a lot more convenient t to take it out and wash it than to lean into the refrigerator every time I want to clean a shelf. Very happy with this product.

These self liners are good. Great quality, easy to cut. A litter sharper on the edges due to which I give it a three rating but great in general.

Just bought a new home with expensive cabinets. They turned out great

For the price paid, this is a great value. So here's the lowdown. There are thicker liners available, but in all honestly I don't think you'll find anything much different here on Amazon. I looked and read reviews and have tried a few other products on Amazon. They are all basically the same. IKEA carries shelf liners and theirs are definitely a bit thicker and higher quality overall. But for the money I'm very happy with this product. I got a 20 foot roll, and used it to line my glass fridge shelves, and plastic door bins. It cuts easily, but you definitely need sharp scissors. There's a certain toughness to the material. It fits nicely and lays down flat on the shelves. To get it to lay down I lightly misted the shelves with water, then put the mat down. The very edge, so about 1.5" has a slight curl up, maybe 1/8" of space because of the memory of the roll shape it arrived in. I've run into the same issue even with the thicker IKEA rolls. But out fridge is full so the items on that side keep it flat. Maybe over time it will lay down completely. Either way it works great. The little disc pattern is perfect and uniform and looks really slick on the shelves.
