Normally I don't reviews for product that are just ok and only write reviews if I am unhappy. BUT I am making an exception because this is an amazing product. The size is about right and we have 13 chicks in there with plenty of room to grow. If you have raised chicks before you will know that they work extra hard to fill the water with wood shavings and wick out all the water. I didn't know that and thought I had ruined my carpet when I got home and the waterer was completely empty, so it was waterproof enough to save me. The mesh is really fine and none of the wood shavings gets out when the top is zipped on. And when we are done it will fold down into a very small size and zips into the bag provided for the next time we have chicks. Finally the shape allows you to put the radiant heater against a straight wall so the chicks feel safer underneath.

The play pen just arrived yesterday. I really like several of its features. It pops open easily and is very spacious. The fabric skirting along the bottom edge is a good idea to prevent creatures from crawling up the sides or biting through the mesh portion. It's a good balance between enough mesh for visibility and air flow and security and durability. I like that the top can be zippered closed not only to prevent escape, but also to deter intruders. I am rehabilitating a little baby squirrel. He needs sunshine and exercise, and this playpen should facilitate that for brief outings in the morning. He definitely out grew his "hospital " enclosure, so with relief, this spacious enclosure provides what he needs for his new level of activity and curiosity. I would not recommend it as a 24/7 pen, nor to be used without a watchful eye as the materials aren't designed to completely protect against the ingenuity of gnawing, climbing critters, but it is so well designed as a enrichment play period for limited periods of time. Also I am impressed with the design feature of being able to fold it up into a compact disk for storage and transporting. A lot of thought went into this product. As far as durability goes, only time will tell. If used wisely and not as a permanent cage, I believe it should perform beautifully.

Over all I really liked this product. It was really easy to open great value for your money. And the assembly was super easy.The bottom wasn't very water resistant. Which is one thing, I didn't like. It also wasn't very portable but the quality was there, I guess? I had originally bought this as a brooder for some chicks that I got from tractor supply. It worked really well for my use. Although I didn't really like the way that the top opened. The top opening was the only thing that I didn't like because well, every time I would open the top, it would just scare the chicks a lot. I know that this wasn't necessarily supposed to be used as a chick brooder but it worked as intended for what I was wanting it for I just wish that the door on the top was an option.But I wish that it also had a door on the side to be able to open it from the side and get in to the chicks or the pet But this doesn't steer me away from it. And I will be using this item again in the future!

We use this to brood baby chicks! We don’t have the space to build a heavy duty brooder so we use these pop up playpens as chicks brooders until they are too big. We love that it’s portable, as we had it inside, the mesh is breathable. And it’s obviously easy to pop up and down! We had 23 chicks in here until they outgrew it :)

Works great for small pets. Comes in a small carrying case and easy to fold up. Cleans well with dish soap and water. Beware, your chickens can jump out of it in a couple weeks.

Purchased for my kiddos bearded dragon. No directions to fold it back up, no care instructions etc. pops open with ease, does have the lawn stakes to secure it outside. The zipper however has pulled apart in places so I had to rerun it so it stayed on track and zipped. Had I not came back on to see the description, my kiddo would have broke it, trying to fold it up. Should have something to explain use and care!!

I live in an apartment and foster kittens from time to time. I have my own cats and need to keep them all separated. I bought this as a way to spend time with the kittens in the LR while keeping the kittens separated from the big cats and in one place. I’ve had this through 4 litters of 3-5 kittens so far and it’s been a sturdy little life saver! It’s very easy to wipe down and clean messes and folds flat to the size of one panel (don’t ask me how they got it into that circular case-no idea but even the size of a panel is great!) I had no idea if this would hold up to the razor claws of kittens and so far, only one tiny hole poked in the top cover that zips closed. The sides (most important for this enclosure) are holding strong and the floor is not even leaking water or anything else underneath to the floor. I put toys, bowls, and litter box in here as well as a small carrier so they have a place to hide and they still have room to move around and play. It’s so easy to clean out and change locations. I can’t say enough good things about this playpen. So glad I bought it!

This product kept my cat confined in a very safe space when she was a baby kitten!
