this setup looks great, has plenty of storage
The reviews stated it was flimsy, which I will not dispute. The dartboard surround is made of fiberboard which is as flimsy as it gets. The cabinet is made of particle board, again cheap. However, this setup looks great, has plenty of storage, and the dart board is excellent with tons of gaming options. It was very inexpensive (get what you pay for), and it is lots of fun for family and friends. If you need a commercial cabinet, this is not it. You're looking in a much higher price range. The assembly was not difficult as long as you watch the subtle hints in the pictorials (hole on backboard, this side up, etc.). It has good volume and it is adjustable. The darts are also much better than those cheap plastic darts you play with in bars.My only modification was adding an $8.00 LED light to point down at the board because there isn't much light where I put it. I was going to get a laser line emitter, but where I put the dartboard lines up with the grout line in the tile, so there was no need.I would suggest this for anyone that wants to improve their dart game skills, has idle time to pass, or enjoys hosting parties where people participate in friendly competition.

So-so quality. Should be better. Plan on making improvements.
Update - lowering to one star. Spent A LOT of time and money to make this cabinet more stable and appear to be of a bit better quality. Brackets, leveling feet, more brackets, alignment. It's better but still mediocre and embarrasing. Dartboard seems just okay (a LOT of bounce-outs) but the cabinet is over-priced JUNK.Dart board cost $194 on Amazon so you're paying about $170 for the cabinet. That's a lot of money for an under-engineered cabinet. Flimsy half-inch thick particle board construction. Tedious assembly. No leveling feet. Plan on spending some more time and money to beef-up the cabinetry with some large L-brackets and some leveling feet etc. A few of the pre-drilled holes did not line up as they should have. Okay, I get it. It's heavy and shipping is free but I would rather pay a bit more and get a quality cabinet. Does not come with lighting for the dart board so you'll probably want to add that. On the plus side the assembly instructions are pretty good and the various parts are well-labelled.Dart board itself is annoying in that it does not save previous user settings even if you keep the wall transformer plugged-in. Each time you turn power on the annoying Heckler feature is turned on by default (and there's no LED to show if it's off or on at any time either). Volume level always defaults to "Hi." Comes with unimaginably low quality set of six darts. The threaded plastic dart tips barely stay in the terribly machined brass barrels. Very poor quality control. Would be better to supply no darts rather than this embarrassment. In ended up spending about $150 extra Dollars (and a lot of time) to get a respectable looking and operating dart board... L-brackets, leveling feet, cabinet board lighting and laser toe-line, power transformers for both of these and a couple of sets of decent quality darts. Now that I have done all this I like it.

Love this dartboard! Tons of fun!
The Arachnid 800 is a great value and provides excellent quality and years of fun! Now, this cabinet is another story. Once assembled the aesthetics are very pleasing and works well in any décor. But, due to the fact it's simply particleboard with pressed on mahogany-look vinyl...it's not very sturdy. The real issues is how the Arachnid board fits in the cabinet. It works but it's nearly impossible to keep the board firmly in place while playing. If you don't have some mechanical ability don't buy this cabinet. You should and really need to be able to shore up the back of the cabinet to provide firm and solid attachment of the board. The board is supposed to hang from 2 srews that are attached to the inside of 2 other pieces of particle board that attach lengthwise on the back of the cabinet. What I did place shims between the back side of the dartboard and the front of the particle board pieces. This help tighten up the slack and made the board much less "bouncy". Next, I attached a 1"x4" board lengthwise to the back of the cabinet directly behind the bottom section of the dartboard (nothing goes behind that otherwise). This provided much more support behind the board when pressing the player change button or any of the buttons for that matter. You'll see what I mean if you buy this cabinet.Lastly, using the included hardware I bolted the top of the cabinet into a stud in the wall to keep the cabinet from getting tippy when pulling darts. All of that has made the cabinet much more sturdy thus making the board much more secure and helps eliminate bounce-outs when playing.Cons: Cheap cabinet made of particleboard. But for a little more than $300 plus the board...when others might cost $1000. Can't go wrong. Pros: Cabinet looks nice and provides plenty of storage for darts and darts accessories. Should work well in nearly any décor.
