Perfect in every way! Arrived securely packaged with no damage. Of course it's heavy... it will last for years! Personally I'm glad it is "aged" to appear authentic. Very fairly priced compared to others available that cost more but offer less and charge for shipping. Just the right size to find a home in most any garden. I agree it is a work of "art" in my Japanese garden and my favorite part. I'm thrilled! Thank you "Solid Rock Stoneworks!"

This ornament was exactly what I was expecting. It is heavy, so a strong wind won’t knock it down. It has the exact appearance and dimensions as described. A little pricy, but if you want something nice you can expect to pay a little more. Very satisfied with this item.

This was better than what was locally available and at a better price

We have a small collection of Japanese Maples and Japanese Peonies in the back yard, and this lantern adds the perfect touch to evoke the gardens of Kyoto or Hakone. It is shown in the picture above next to a fifteen year old dwarf Mikawa Yatsubusa and in front of the Peonies just starting to emerge. It has a very realistic finish on the stone that will attain a weathered patina over time, and it has perfect proportions and heft. It certainly will not be blown out of position in anything less than a Category 5 hurricane !!

More substantial than I expected! Absolutely beautiful next to my pond. Love it!

The lantern looks great in the garden. It is made of concrete and is heavy duty. The only issue is that one of the legs was broken when I opened the box. Two pieces were packed in the same box and most likely hit each other during transit. I was able to use a concrete adhesive to repair and all is good.
