BMW E38 doors. Great for the price
I needed 5.25in 4ohm speakers for my rear doors. These fit perfectly. Sound great. We’re not expensive at all. Wish they had 8ohm speakers more my rear deck.

Amazing deal on some decent BOSS speakers
I love this set. I bought 2 sets of these speakers for my car. Had to return 1 set due to the audio shop guy told me the wrong size but i ordered the correct size and ill get it the 1st of Nov. They are super straightforward. Seem to be well built. Only thing ive noticed to far is they cant seem to handle high bass. They slightly distort but ut could b cause i only have 1 screw holding it in for now cause i have to cut part of my door panel out to make room for the cover. But i bought a subwoofer for the bass so no worries. The actual sound quality is very good though. Id reccomend these for anyone redoing their vehicles sound system.

Great budget speakers for the price!
I ordered these to install in my beater 1990 Bronco II. I didn't want to spend a lot, as the only real reason I was putting in a system was my town's new hands-free cell phone law. I needed something cheap so I could use my phone's bluetooth. These replaced the crappy factory Ford speakers in the doors and back seat.Sound is decent. In the front I have the Chaos Exxtreme CH5530, and in the back the CH5720. They're mated to an inexpensive Boss Audio head unit (625UAB). Installation is straight-forward, just like with any replacement speakers. The included speaker wire is ridiculously thin. Luckily I didn't have to use it, I just cut the factory plug off and soldered the speakers in. Great clarity with zero static or interference from an inadequate wire. I will say that if I were having to run new wire I would buy a heavier gauge rather than use what came with the speakers (I'd guess it's 22 ga., but could be thinner!). That would result in losing a star for me due to the added cost. But as I said before, since I was able to solder the factory wiring it wasn't an issue. While you can't push a lot of bass through them at high volumes without some distortion, you can get plenty of thump for an older guy while retaining the sound clarity. I didn't expect these to be competition grade speakers at this price point. And they're not. But rather than being disappointed by stupidly cheap speakers at a cheap price, I was surprised and pleased by economy speakers at a stupidly cheap price. For 15 bucks for the 5530s and 16.50 for the 5720s, these speakers are a screaming bargain. Would I put them in my Vette? No. But they're perfect for my every-day beater. The perfect low-end solution when you don't want to spend a lot because your ride's a hoopty! lol

Good Value for Money, Decently Easy Drop in Replacement, Especially in Older Cars
I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 and noticed that one of my back speakers had a buzzing sound to it, popped off the door and found that speaker needed to be replaced. This being a 14 year old pickup truck, I obviously wasn't looking for something super premium, just something that would fix the buzzing and sound ok and thats exactly what I got.. Speakers came in a two pack so I went ahead and replaced both rear speakers so the sound would at least be similar, sound quality is decent enough, especially for the low price, replacing was pretty easy, though in my truck, the original speakers mounted with 3 screws and these mount with 4. (should have checked before order) so I did have to rig up so adapter plates, not a huge deal for me, but wanted to mention. Overall, happy enough, fixed my issue and seems like a decent value, even if not the best sounding speakers.

Great budget speakers
I used two sets of these in 6.5" round to replace the blown out JBL speakers in a 2003 toyota avalon xle. These not only sound better than the JBL's did when they were new, but are about 900 dollars less than the dealership wants to replace the JBL speakers. If you have a drill and some basic wiring knowledge (very basic), as well as some experience pulling the door panel off of your car, you can easily replace your old speakers with these. The front speakers in the avalon come in a plastic housing that angles them downwards for some reason, and once you remove the old speaker from the plastic housing, this easily fits in and replaces it with almost no trouble at all (just drill holes to match the housing). They also work very well to replace the back door speakers in the avalon, which are something like 3.5 inches. I just removed the rear door speakers and the housing and threw it away, then just drilled out the correct hole pattern in the door of the car in the same slot, and screwed these in. They work so much better than the JBL's that I'm thoroughly happy. 32 dollars to replace 4 blown out speakers is a great deal. Also, even though the factory JBL's are 2 ohm and these are 4 ohm, they work without a hiccup. I'd definitely reccomend them, and I'd buy them again.

Wouldn't recommend
I bought these with the Boss audio unit and some rear Pyle speakers. The audio unit only puts out 50 watts per channel so I thought these speakers being able to handle 120 watts per speaker would do the trick. So after spending about an hour taking the doors apart and installing these speakers you can imagine my disappointment when I finally turned on the radio. These speakers distort when the volume is above 75% and just sound horrible for a 3 way speaker. I also installed a sub and amp so with the bass turned down on the audio unit these speakers are tolerable.. I wish I had purchased the Pyle front speakers because the $10 4x6 Pyle speakers in the rear sound way better and don't have any distortion. These speakers would be ok if you only listen to news or music at a low volume. However if you like to enjoy your music and blast it while driving down the road you will be disappointed.
