I am not one to wear hats, usually just sun visors. I decided when doing yard work or washing my vehicles I needed more coverage from the sun than the bill of a visor. I ordered this hat and it works very well. The fabric is breathable, the quality is good, it is sturdy and comfortable. I also get much more protection from the sun's harmful rays.

I've bought a lot of hats for sun protection over the years, and this is my favorite. I keep one in the garage for yardwork and another in the car. At some point I lost both so these are #3 and #4. The brim is about the widest you can wear without looking silly, and the dark gray version looks macho (I was once called "ma'am" when kayaking with a beige hat). Excellent quality and not tight. The vent flap will flip up for ventilation or down for maximum sun protection. The strap is helpful on windy days and lets me hang the hat behind my back when going into a store.

Excellent for protection from sun, has a very broad brim. Less satisfactory for very strong winds. Drawstring is very helpful

This inexpensive sun hat is so good and such high-quality that I immediately bought a second one for my wife. Faults flat. Stays on tight and gives great sun protection. Highly recommend!

The hat is exactly what is needed for protection from the sun. It is light weight and adjustable for a good fit. It provides sufficient shade for protection and has a mesh side for ventilation. A good hat at a good price.

So far I have worn this hat on an all day deep sea fishing trip. It was comfortable and shielded me from the hot sun and sea water splash while underway. The hat was cool, wide enough brim and I like its venting and adjustable fit feature. Seems to be easy to clean.

I like it. Fits my big head. Good shade, not heavy. Don't expect it will do well in rain, but then I've not gotten to test this. Maybe light rain or mist, no downpours.
