Reliable, efficient for my Dell Latitude 7480
I live in my van, and use a DC charger to reduce battery drain from the inverter. My last DC charger was slower and less reliable than this one. Very pleased with the small size, blue status light, minimal battery drain, and most importantly is recognized by my Dell Latitude 7480 as a 90w charger.Update: it just died last week. Suddenly the blue light stopped coming on and my laptop stopped charging. I contacted Amazon, sent back the old one, and they are sending me a new one. Let’s hope it was a fluke.Update #2: On April 4, the replacement died. Customer service is great, they are sending me a third charger, but the reliability is questionable, at least for me. I do use it a lot however, probably three or four hours a day every day.

Works with the Dell Latitude D830 too!
I bought this even though the description did not mention compatibility with any of the D series Latitudes. The product title claims 90 watt and the product details claim 65 watt. Since I wasn't using the docking station in the vehicle, I reasoned that I could cope if it was actually the 65 watt spec. I received the item quickly and it works great. Whenever my laptop battery level becomes critical, I just turn on the accessory power in the WebSALE.TV Deal Mobile and I've got at least another few hours before I have to crank the car to recharge the vehicle battery. By this time, my laptop has recharged and the vehicle can stay off for another hour or two while I process more inventory. Thanks to Pwr+ for such a great little charger. I can save gas by not running my big inverter as often to run the AC wall charger that came with my laptop. Now I can just sip power from the vehicle's battery with this 12v charger. Check out the video reviews on my website and learn scouting for yourself.PS- The charger is labeled as 19.5 Volts @ 4.92 Amps. 19.5V x 4.92A = 95.94 Watts or 90 Watts.

Can be made to work with Dell ultra-slim laptops
The D4C adapter arrived promptly in just a couple of days, looks well made, and works for my ultra-slim XPS 15 (9530) Dell laptop by combining it with a separately-purchased Dell Power Dongle 0D5G6M (Manufacturer Part# : 57J49, Dell Part# : 331-9319), which is a simple cable assembly that converts the PWR+ 7.4mm diameter connector to the 4.5mm diameter connector required by my ultra-slim laptop.Dell claims on their website description that the Dongle allows the following ultra-slim Dell laptops to use the typical Dell chargers on the ultra-slims:Inspiron 14 (7437)Precision M3800XPS 11XPS 12XPS 12 MLKXPS 13 (9333)XPS 15 (9530)The PWR+ adapter has a round (not hex), 7.4mm outside diameter connector, with an outer ring (GND), and inner ring (+19.5vdc) and a center pin (probably a sensing lead -- no voltage present when not connected to the laptop).I wish PWR+ would do a better job of describing the connectors on their adapters, as there are so many different types of connectors used.

The DC to DC laptop power supply your looking for...
This was purchased for a remote location with only solar power and a large deep cycle marine battery for power storage in the middle of the desert. This supply has lasted through high temps and very low temps. The location where this is located had some high winds and destroyed the solar panel. The weather monitoring system at this remote location is all DC based equipment which does not have a huge draw on the battery. I've used this laptop DC supply and doesn't use as much as you'd think. I test the battery's voltage and it's never dropped the voltage more the .2 volts at each use, which is about 45 minutes on average. Once the new solar panels arrive, power draw really won't matter.Overall a great solution for remote or in car power for your laptop.

Works great
I have a Dell Latitude E6430 laptop with an extended battery, and needed a means to recharge the laptop from my vehicle or directly from a 12 volt marine battery. This charger fits the bill. Now I don't have to use one of those power inverters, with the associated fan noise and inefficiency of converting 12 volts to 120 volts to power the stock laptop charger, and then back to 19.5 volts (what the laptop needs). This is the same wattage (90 watts) as the stock 120v Dell charger, and charges the battery just the same, whether the laptop is on or off.One thing I will caution you on....the tip of the power port plug on this charger gets very hot during use (at least mine does). When you pull it out of the power port socket, be careful to not touch the tip for a while until it cools.

Incredible charger!
Definitely served its purpose! I was able to work through an entire road trip without losing any battery life. Laptop didn't run too hot, and I have not experienced any side effects of using this charger.
