Replogle Globes Westminster Globe, Antique Ocean, 16-Inch Diameter, Large, Off/White

Globe came thru to me with zero defects or scratches. Clean and perfect. Packing was strong.. Delivery was 10 days ahead of the first guess.I think the price is a bit steep. It is a fine globe and stand but $455 is a big number and it should be fine. The wood is plain painted wood but it is strong and robust. Assembly was easy and all the parts fit.To be honest, it would probably take a 20 inch globe to give me the detail I need. The price on the 20 inch is prohibitive at nearly $1200.The globe makes a nice addition to our home. I am pleased with the buy. CDH.

Looks really nice. Very nice to maneuver. Simple to assemble. Everyone loves looking at it! The quality is very good. It's quite large. Make sure you have room for it :)

Looks beautiful in our home, easy to use as it spins every which way. Easy to assemble. No downside with this elegant and functional Globe.

This is a high end “piece of artwork” without a doubt. The woodwork is first class and easy to put together; the globe is sturdy feeling. My only downside is I think $450 is too high of a price.But I did buy it!

I returned the item the same day. I have cherry furniture and I thought this may be a nice addition. I was shocked when I opened the box.The finish was bright red and I believe the description was misleading. It was a long long worded paragraph and the only mention of surface, which should be one of the most important part of the piece states cherry in a very inauspicious location. It should be more prominent (photo was misleading also) in returning the item I am charged 100.00 by UPS. Dan

The globe and stand were very well packaged for shipment and arrived in good condition. Stand assembly was easy. My only complaint is that the globe had a few minor flaws and, for the price I paid, it should be perfect!

I looked at many of the globes offered by Amazon, and most of them were only 12' diameter. I just didn't think that was big enough to view it. So I saw this 16' diameter globe, and although it was more money than I wanted to spend, there aren't many to choose from that are of this size. All things considered, I am very happy with this purchase. It looks great in my family room. Very easy to assemble, no tools needed, just screw the legs together and insert the globe.

Purchased this as a gift for my grandson. The outside of the large box that everything came in had absolutely NO damage, it was perfect. Everything on inside was individually boxed. The top, round wooden part had 1 corner of it's box smashed in really bad and on the inside the round wooden part was smashed beyond repair. It was clear that the box it was in was damaged before it left the mfg. company otherwise there would have been exterior damage somewhere on the outside of the big box that contained all of it. Now, upon calling the Replogle company they vehemently denied it could have happened prior to shipping. They were not nice at all. I finally got tired of arguing with this person representing Replogle and hung up. So, don't count on any kind of customer service from them based on my experience. They were horrible. And it is not wood, it is press board, I thought it was wood.
