Mexican Train & Chicken Domino Set, Professional Set of 91, Double of 12

We first purchased set from this company (CHH) in 2019 and have purchased it several times since as gifts. It's the only one to buy! The box is great, since you don't have to stack the tiles in order to close it...just dump them in and close and latch the lid! The color difference between the tiles are varied enough to make playing easy and the tiles are evenly matched in size and weight. If the color differences aren't that way in the set you get, the free return makes it easy enough to exchange for another set that works. The center train island/station is great! It even has train and chicken sounds! The little individual trains are in great colors and the Mexican Train is a larger size, making it easy to figure out which it is when playing.The company was terrific when we lost a tile...they were able to replace it with exactly the same color and sized tile! I highly recommend this particular set from this company!It's a fun game for people of many different ages to play together!

On the plus side, these dominoes are perfectly weighted (not skinny and light) that stand easily. The colors are bright and easily distinguished. And the train station is also substantial and not flimsy like other sets I've seen. The carrying case is also nice. On the negative side, I had to return the first order as the set was missing the 11-5 and the fours were a mix of some pink and some blue. I did write to the seller hoping for a fix but never heard back. As such, I returned the set for a complete replacement set. The second order was perfect and we are happy. Be advised that my issue is not too unusual as Amazon lists the product as "often returned." Still, we really liked the weighted dominoes and bright colors so we reordered and finally got a perfect set. Even with the issue and having to return for another set, I would order this product again because of the weighted dominoes and bright colors. We love the game and everyone from young nephews to adults enjoy this game.

Tiles are easy to read. Well made and so much fun.

We purchased a domino set a few years ago and the dominoes seemed thicker and more substantial. Also, one of the dominoes has paint on the back side - so everyone can tell which domino it is. The case is nice, but there's extra room in it - so the dominoes scatter inside when you carry it. Overall, it's a nice set. Just wish it were as nice as the one I gave to a relative.

I have another set that has a tile with a lip.. we call it The Lip; a 5/8 that has a chunk out of it and a few more that we can all tell what they are. Not much fun to play when you don’t want to cheat! So I got another set for $19.99-same thing.. kinked corner, dirt and a chunk. Just sent that one back. I opened this $43 set and was praying! I looked at all of the edges- no kinks that I can tell.. haven’t opened the packaging yet so unsure if there are any chunks out of any backs. Really hoping there isn’t.. we play this game... 2-3 times a week and just want a quality set.. that appears to be a big ask! The colors are vivid on these... I’ll update if there are any flaws in the tiles.. we all hate the issues with the tiles... if they have chunks out; it’s going back and I give up.. we’ll have to deal with the other set... $43 is a lot of money for flawed tiles... I will edit this review as soon as I open the tiles! It’s seeming promising at this point...Edit: these are absolutely perfect! I don’t like that the 4 and 7 are the exact same blue; that doesn’t take away the perfect! Perfect is no chunks, lips, ink all over them. They are thicker and in perfect condition! I am beyond thrilled! Thanks to the manufacturer and Amazon! Have already played 4 games- these are a pleasure to play with; lol!

This case of dominoes is great for game night. Play chicken foot, mexican train or even 42. The case is nice for storing the hub and dominos. Tired of counting those dots; this game can be purchased with Numbers instead. Dots of this game are color coded to make it easier to match up the number of dots.

I probably haven’t played dominoes for 45 years. Recently we stayed in a condo in Florida and there was a set of dominoes in a closet - along with other games.My wife and I started playing and really got hooked. So when we came home I did quite a bit of research and settled on this set. They are brightly colored and easily distinguishable (from one number to the next.) They are also wide enough that they can be stood on their side to play without falling over.I only knew one domino game – and I’m not sure of the name of it – but when we received the set, I realized that there are a lot of other domino games to play. I would recommend this to anyone looking for some old-school fun.

This is such a fun game! Although the directions are not exactly easy to understand as there are many questions left unanswered, I guess you can just set your own rules on some of the plays. Very nice quality!
