This coloring book is very helpful with learning anatomy. Their coloring books are made very well. The pages are thicker so you don't have to worry about markers bleeding through.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love these kind of books I have always wanted to be a veterinary assent. Now to learn where each one is and knowing what it is. I think it should have a little bit more info about each animal.

If you're exploring a career as a veterinary doctor or just enjoy learning what's going inside our animal friends, this book could be a fun place to start. Each spread contains on one side a very detailed black-and-white line drawing of a cut-away view of a single member of the animal kingdom (e.g., horse, fish, frog, rattlesnake) with numbered arrows pointed to its various internal organs, and a list of those same body parts on the other. Your job is to write in the name of each organ, which will help you internalize the anatomical nomenclature, and then coloring in the various parts with marker or crayon (that's the fun part). If you think that might be a bit childish, don't -- the drawings are incredibly detailed and precise and will sharpen your knowledge of anatomy to a greater degree than you might have thought possible.

Daughter wants to be a vet when she grows up. She loves this book and won’t put it down.
