LG dryer heat loss solved
Replacing sensors was easy and solved the problem. Search online for the easy way to remove the back tunnel to replace the sensors from the back.

You do not need to take the whole dryer apart!
My LG suddenly stopped heating. This $8 dollar option seemed much cheaper, and easier, than trying to replace the heating element. After replacing both parts contained on the order, I am back and running. Most videos on YouTube show taking the whole dryer apart. I was unwilling to go through that many steps. If you tip the dryer forward, and remove the pipe coming from the back (1 screw), that gave me plenty of room. Remove the plastic things on the side as well and I put a headlamp inside the bottom of the dryer for a little light. I used a ratcheting screwdriver with an extension and it didn’t take too long….maybe an hour total to replace and re-hook up the driver vent hose.

Dryer heating element goes out. It’s really not the element it’s this. Easy replacement

Does the job
My LG DLE5001W had no heat. I'm embarrassed to say that my ~20 feet of exhaust vent had 18 1/2 years worth of lint built up. After clearing that out and seeing that my thermistor seemed to be reading the correct temperature, I ordered this combo. While removing the original parts, I found that the thermal fuse did not have continuity while the thermostat did. After replacing both parts, I went through the diagnostic tests. While running the first element, the temperature started climbing again. With both elements running, the temperature started climbing faster. Everything is working now. Hopefully the new parts last, but so far I feel good about spending $11 instead of buying a new dryer.1/20/24 edit: I'm taking off a star because I had to replace these again just under a year later. I ended up buying the exact same ones as a replacement because of the price and the fact that I could get them delivered the next day.1/21/25 edit: My second set lasted a year and two months. This time I bought a different brand that hopefully will last longer.

Fixed my dryer - it heats again!
Discovered my clothes dryer stopped producing any sort of heat. Troubleshooting guides suggested checking the thermal fuse. Sure enough, my multimeter confirmed mine was bad. Found this along with a replacement t-stat that I'll save for later and my dryer is back doing it's job.For anyone considering a replacement like this, most guides suggest taking a good chunk of the dryer a part to get to the fuse. For mine, I was able to remove a small side panel near the bottom, along with the exhaust tube. This allowed just enough room to put a flashlight in the side panel and unscrew the thermal fuse with one hand. You mostly are working blind and just by feel, but it's 2 screws and a couple wires. Took maybe 10 minutes start to finish - far easier than taking a part the dryer. Take a look and see if this might be an option for you and save yourself a bunch of time.

Avoid -
Avoid. Possibly defective. We aren't new to replacing dryer thermostat parts. Replaced all 3 recommended parts this time and heat died after a few loads.
