Solid protection
This belt offers solid protection and good support. I hope I never have to test it. My jeans size is between 32 and 34, depending on the style, and the large / x large belt fits well.

Sturdy belt
I like the stiffness in this belt compared to a previous one I had. If you have a large belly, order as big as you can. Could be a little snug.

Outstanding Back Support and Quality Construction!
I don’t write many reviews but after purchasing this Leatt Kidney Belt and using it a few times now, I had to comment.I’m very happy with this particular belt. In the past forty or so years, I’ve tried quite a few from the hard leather belts to the original “Gold Belt” style and just have to say, this Leatt belt provides the most comfortable support of any I’ve used.I did give this belt 4 out of 5 stars for several reasons... It doesn’t seem to breathe as well as some but I have to attribute this to the construction of the reinforcing panel in the back. The panel does have vent holes but all in all, this is going to be more of a trade off, more support for less venting. I would much have the greater support as this belt provides. It’s truly impressive.I also wish the front Velcro band was a bit wider on the larger sizes and the tightening supports were a bit wider, but it’s certainly adequate for what it does.The Leatt belt is also a bit more expensive than others but for the support it provides, this additional cost, at least to me, is not a big deal. I am very happy with this purchase.To provide a bit more information to anyone interested, I have a 36” waist and purchased the Large/X-Large size. I wouldn’t want one any smaller for my waist size and would recommend anyone with a 38” waist size up to get the next larger size.Highly recommended for serious off-road riders.

I lacerated a kidney in march. I jut got back on the trails and this gave me confidence to ride. I haven't fallen yet but the support it gives feels solid. Hopefully I won't need it but if I do I think it will work fine

Top Notch Quality Product
Although a bit pricey it’s not out of line with comparable quality kidney belts.When buying protective items I always look for the CE rating. All of Leatt’s product line has a rating. I know I sound like a company spokesman but I can assure you I’m not. I’m the type of person that refuses to put random stickers of companies on my truck, bike, etc. because I refuse to give them free advertising unless the item is quality. Especially the crap from FOX!

Fits good and works great, I can ride all day and my back doesn't hurt.

Runs small
Hopefully it will reduce kidney strain while riding but get larger size than normal because it runs small.
