Cute and looks good
Easy to assemble,a bit lightweight,I purchased for silkies since they don't like to climb up figured one level would work out well, would recommend but you have to reinforce a bit and not really enough room for 6,maybe 4 unless you add on to the run. Overall happy with purchase.

Compact coop. Low price. Decent quality.
3 stars due to not having an included floor. There are also gaps in the nesting box lids and no nesting box dividers (design flaw). Package arrived undamaged and was easy to build. With my complaints aside, this coop is actually quite functional. It's sturdy and has great curb appeal. 4 full size hens and 2 bantams will fit cozily. However, I would not attempt anymore than that...there's not enough space; barely enough space for my 6 hens. I have a feeling we will need to upgrade in the future.Hope that helps.

Cute but not ideal
So this coop is super cute but not at all functional for 6-8 chickens as it says. It's way too small as is the run. Your chickens are going to get crazy cabin fever and the roosting bars are too thin. There vents are way too small, not enough for good airflow. But I do have to say it was super easy to put together. Of course I learned all this after buying. Should have done better research.

Great starter chicken coop for the money
The coop looks exactly as pictured. You get a run (the part where the chickens can run outside), the planters which sit on top of the run, and the coop itself which has two nesting boxes on either side. Now I heard the other people did not get all their parts right away, but I took the risk and ordered with no problems since I knew Amazon would eventually get me everything that was promised..Realistically I think this can keep at most 6 chickens, possibly 8 if you wanna cramp things a bit or you have smaller chickens like bantams. The pieces are VERY dry and the oil smell is strong when you first get it but it does dissipate with time. The oil does seem to keep the bugs out and keep the wood safe, though the wood itself is a bit brittle so be care piecing this together. Building tip: Make sure you read/look at the pictures carefully as everything is in there but you can easily mistake different pieces. I also did not realize there were pre-marked (not all were drilled) holes for most of the screws so don't waste your time measuring for certain parts when they did it for you.The wood is also thinner than I would like and is an average of about 1/8 of an inch thick. The poor wood quality is my main reason for giving it a 4 star review, but so far it has held up well and offers enough protection from local foxes. To be fair, when I bought this it was $419 and for the features and size a damn good price. For anyone that can spend $800 I say more power to you because that is what you'll need for a coop of good quality. For everyone else, buy something like this for half the price.I'll try to upload some pics when I can but what I did was I laid the coop down on top of some level cinder blocks cemented together and with a rubber stall mat (like for horses) on top. This both makes for a sturdy foundation to prevent foxes and other predators from breaking in and the rubber top addon is to make cleanup easier since I have intention to moving this house around the yard. N.B. Some people do this to allow for fresh bed for the chickens to walk on and to turn the earth (composting) but I have a smaller property and no space for this. The planters I used to hold decorative river stones to both look nice and add weight to the top as the run itself I felt was flimsy and I did not want any foxes to get under it. I also installed an automatic door in the coop (see https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TONTHRG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and ran a power line to the coop so I can have a heat lamp in winter. New England winter is brutal and although I trust the bantams and NE Reds can take it (5 chickens altogether) you never know. The wire runs from my outdoor house outlet to a GFI outlet box, and the wire run for this I did underground by just following the path of the wire and digging about 6in down to prevent tripping. The food and water I am keeping outdoors at the far end of the run using a gravity water tin and silo grain feeder side by side each other. This way if it gets too cold in the winter I can put a heater under the water tin to deice it and no humidity builds up in the coop. All in all a good solid buy so long as you are careful and take all necessary steps to keep your ladies safe.

amazing!!
The coop itself is big enough to fit 5-6 chickens comfortably, but what I liked the most about this coop is the open area that is attached to the entrance of the coop, and is closed off with wire fence, so the chickens can roam a bit but not go far. there is also a lot of space for them to lay their eggs which I like as well.

shipping issues
I had the same issue as the previous reviewer. I only received one of the two boxes. It now looks just like the one in the picture. Love it but I'm sure the shipping problem will happen again. After having this coop for a couple of months I'm regretting my purchase. The chickens hate it. They prefer going to the other coop we have. The "nesting boxes" are awful. They are too small and won't hold bedding. The roosting poles aren't well made and won't stay in place. I have to go out every night and remove the hens from the top of the coop and put them inside.

Perfect
Big enough to hold six chicks comfortably. They are loving it. Perfect for half the price.

Three Stars
For $400 I could have built a better coop, and I should have.
