This Is the Way (Star Wars: The Mandalorian) (Little Golden Book)

This book covers Season 1 of the show by pointing out some of the highlights. It's definitely not a full "Storybook," as there are only one or two sentences per page. But the illustrations are charming and evocative of the scenes of the show.As an adult Star Wars collector, I enjoy the nostalgia factor of Little Golden Books, and enjoy these and recommend them for fans of all ages.

This is a great addition to any child’s library growing up! I love Golden Books and i’m really happy that they’re innovative enough to start making all these pop culture stories. The pages have wonderful images and the story is beyond sweet for our newest obsession; Mando and Baby Yoda! I can’t wait for my 5 year old to open this along with her other Mando and Baby Yoda presents this Christmas! I’m sure it’ll become apart of our bedtime routine! Excellent buy.

Yes, this LGB is not a long or complex read, but I don't understand what the other reviewers here expected. I found this to be the sweetest of the Star Wars LGBs, conveying love and loyalty between previously friendless beings from very different worlds. Not sure if other buyers watched the show, but there's not a lot of chatter between Mando and The Child. The beauty is in what the series shows you, not tells you. This LGB is the same. Perfect bedtime book for very young children, and a wonderfully heartfelt story for all.

This book is a synopsis of the first episode of The Mandalorian TV show. I do like a short book sometimes when my son constantly wants another bedtime story, but this book is very short. It has the standard number of pages but few words on each page. We have a lot of Star Wars Golden Books, including most of the "I Am A..." series, and this is the shortest one of them all. Also, technically nobody ever refers to The Child as "baby Yoda," which may disappoint a kid who knows the characters from toys and books and cartoons instead of from the movies or the TV series. Otherwise this is just as cute and well put together as any of the Star Wars Golden Books.

Grandchildren loved it

Our 19 month old kept asking for a Grogu book at night before bed. This is by far not only the best Grogu book on the market but just a cute book for babies and toddlers. Easy to read. Not a lot of text but excellent pictures for small ones to look at. Has a great message about the child needing a home and the Mandalorian needing to heal his heart so they became a family. This is the way.

It is a simple book. My kids love it. I feel they mess the catch phase, instead of this is the way. They write This was the way. Sounds weird, but my kids love it, and the art work alone is great.

I absolutely loved this story. It has some actual great character insights and summed up the Mandalorian in a picture book way. Don't hesitate, let's buy.
