Works great. Very helpful managing the temp in my wood burning stove.

I used this on my cast iron wood cookstove and it really lets me know what temperature it is to cook food in the oven portion. It’s easy to read and simple enough!

Seems i'm buying a new one every year.

This has helped immensely to maintain a more uniform temperature in the house. Also adds a feeling of assurance that we are not overheating or underheating the wood furnace and potentially causing a fire in the chimney pipe.

Paint faded first time using not so easy to read seams to work well

Solid function for the price, when I received it the arrow was jammed but it was easy to fix. Idk how accurate it is but it does seem to work, can’t beat it for $8.

The Stanbroil Stove Thermometer starts out looking great, very easy to read. However, after no more than 3 months of daily service on top of our woodstove, practically all the paint is cooked off leaving a useless ugly beer coaster for your coffee table. That's the challenge with any woodstove thermometer - you have to use a high-temp powder coating in most cases for any kind of reasonable service life (example, some engine part coating paints such as INFERNEX can handle up to 880° F continuous service temp), otherwise you're just selling a pretty brick. I paid $13.99 for what I thought would be a better-quality non-Chinese brand, but a thermometer with a proper heat-resistant coating is probably more realistically priced in the $20+ range. I'll make a mental note to avoid this brand in the future.

This is a great thermometer to have. I was just getting one. We love it.
