I loved this lipstick, the Exhilarator color is a vibrant red that really stands out and makes the makeup look spectacular. The texture is creamy when applied, but in seconds it is fixed and is completely matte. The best thing is its duration: it holds meals, drinks and many hours without the need for touch-ups.It does not dry out the lips too much if you moisturize them before, and the applicator makes it much easier to achieve a precise finish. This does absolutely what it says it is going to do. I am now making this my go to rugged lip color after trying all the major drug store brands. I now have a collection of a good half dozen colors of this. Here to order more.Covergirl Outlast- pretty good and they have an ideal color for me...but it will break down after a bit, especially after eating- it doesn't endure eating. It lasts better than Maybelline 24 hour though funny enough...it competes with this one but Maybelline Superstay wins.Maybelline 24 hour style in the pen type container...no, not even...worse than the covergirl. Not even worth my time.This stuff stays on...and on....and the next day sometimes. YES! THAT is what I am looking for. Coffee and eating? No problem, shower? no problem. Wrestling livestock? No problem. Falling in the mud? No problem. Want to just wipe it (or even scrub....I don't recommend it as the area will be red and abraided for a week from the attempt and the color will STILL be there- I had to cover with concealer finally) off without the remover? Problem LOL. But I'm not fussy that way...I just leave it on till it wears off alot of times. I need makeup that is put it on and it just stays all day and doesn't get all over me or anyone else no matter what we do. This is that! Keep it up Maybelline...this is a keeper.
