Quality tools that work
Worked perfect for removing and reinstalling big snap rings from my tractor. Recommended if you have the need for them. Nice case to keep all parts together.

Exactly what I needed
Tool worked perfectly for what I needed it for. I was trying to remove a large snap ring to rebuild the torque tube from my C6 Corvette. After several failed attempts I ordered these. Once these arrived I had the snap ring removed on the first try.They are heavy duty and work great for large snap rings. Would highly recommend.

Worked fine for me
Needed to remove a c ring retainer from a turbocharger. My collection of wimpy snap ring pliers was way inadequate for the job. Used the internal tool and was done in 30 seconds. The ratchet feature was a bit odd to get used to but its actually handy. Not sure I will need these ever again but if so they are in my arsenal now.

Before you brake all of your pliers, buy these
These things are great. Broke two pliers from off the Cornwell truck and had to purchase these. Great bang for the buck, didn’t even hesitate removing these rusted in, very strong snap rings for a mercedes wheel bearing.My only regret with buying these is waiting until I had broken 3 pairs of my own to do so.

No other way
Right tool for the right job.I did struggle a bit even with these. But worked near flawlessly. Had some issues where it might slip off if just on the very tip. If you can get a small screwdriver/pick, to push the snap ring further up the tips, it is AWESOME. I also had some issues on deep internal rings. But hey, I get paid by the hour.If you have snap rings this size, you NEED pliers this size. You will not have a good time with sub par substitutes/hacks.Just watch what tips you use, their orientation, and how attached. The pliers might get in the way, just flip sides. Takes a little forethought, but if you have 1/4 a mechanical brain you're good to go.

By far the best snap ring pliers I've used
I needed install heavy duty snap ring on a harmonic balancer. I purchased 3 different pliers that couldn't do the job. These pliers are heavy duty and can do just about anything you could need with snap rings.

Built to last; you get what you pay for
As other customers have mentioned, these are big and heavy duty. I even had to modify one set of tips (reduce the diameter) so they would fit the 2" snap ring I was needing to work with. If you are in need of a heavy duty set of internal and external pliers, these are it. Yes they are costly, but they work without issue so to me that is priceless.
