Incredible product! Exactly what I needed. Outstanding results! After the repair I used another product not associated with this purchase, Super Glue "EZ Fuse" tape for protection from moisture. The connectors are good to go as soon as they cool, I gave the tape 2-hours to seal before filling the reservoir with water.The project was wiring repair for a pump. It's up and running! 5*****

I used the 180PCS Solder Seal Wire Connectors for trailer hitch wiring and low-voltage accent lighting, and they worked well for those projects. The connectors seal tightly, making the job much easier than traditional soldering.However, I encountered an issue with high heat. If you apply too much heat, the outer plastic of the connector melts away before the solder inside has a chance to melt and form a good connection. It’s important to be careful with the heat application, as the plastic can burn off before the solder works properly.Overall, they’re effective for many wiring jobs, but just be mindful of the heat when using them.

Lots of variety, melt resistant, looks good, and functions as needed great value for the money

Product is exceptional at connecting 2 wires and shrimp wrapping the ends as it advertises. It is even good at soldering an end onto a wire while it shrinks over the connector end by cutting one side or the shrink wrap back part way. However there are no instructions so you have to guesstimate how long to heat the connector with the heat gun while turning to heat all sides evenly. It isn't that hard since the shrink covering is clear and you can see the solder melt. Not only that but the solder seems to melt when the shrink wrap is finished shrinking so so connection and seal finish around the same time. After completion let it sit and cool a few seconds before moving or pulling the wires to allow perfect connection. The locking clips on the box are the usual cheap quality you get on a typical shrink wrap plastic box that won't last very long so close carefully. The larger quantities of this product appear to also have a better sealing box. I have been a mechanic for nearly 50 years and this is as critical as I could make the review. The main thing is this is clearly a great 5 star product for connecting wires.

I will never use normal crimp connectors again these are great. Between the solder and the glue there are extremely solid and water tight.
