Get more LED light out of the same socket, safely.
This splitter is highly recommended. If you pair it with a good LED - you will be golden.BuildThe quality is great, feels durable, does not get abnormally hot.AdviceThis splitter was the final answer to a long struggle of finding: a reasonably priced, good quality, 200W LED, that offered 3200-3800 Lumens, with a flicker free light. Why buy one 200W LED and “maybe” get the proper amount of brightness(lumens), when you can buy splitters + few packs of four 100W bulbs, and live happily ever after...You can even go 3way or even 4way splitter route(if the fixture allows) …Amp use: Incandescent vs LED100w / 120V = 0.83 amps13w / 120V = 0.11 amps about 87% less energy useIn this particular splitter example: two 100W bulbs = 0.22 amps*do verify specs on whatever you are buyingIt is simple math: Watts=Amps* Volts , Amps=Watts/VoltsAnd check that your wiring and electrical are in good shape.*don’t buy cheap junk LEDs - poor quality light, low lumens and flicker(strobing) light will give you headaches, and you wouldn’t even know why you are getting headaches…Not affiliated, personal experience: I’ve finally found Sylvania(Natural)(True Wave) bulbs. Highly recommended - good light, no flicker , classy look.Example listings:60Whttps://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-40806-Equivalent-Efficient-Temperature/dp/B084SN9JWL/ref=sr_1_8?crid=2FTXNG4Y4XCQU&keywords=sylvania%2Btrue%2Bwave%2B100w&qid=1700520412&sprefix=sulvania%2Btrue%2Bwave%2B100w%2Caps%2C92&sr=8-8&th=1100Whttps://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-40808-Equivalent-Efficient-Temperature/dp/B084SDG4JM/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2BK6C6PV5IEGF&keywords=sylvania%2Btrue%2Bwave%2B100%2Bw%2Bpack%2Bof%2B4&qid=1700509219&sprefix=sylvania%2Btrue%2Bwave%2B100%2Bw%2Bpack%2Bof%2B4%2Caps%2C114&sr=8-5&th=1

With this, your torchiere is bright enough
I got a pretty Tiffany torchiere, with a mostly light blue shade, and though it had a max of 100W, it still wasn't bright enough for our room. Thought about replacing it with a double torchiere, but double Tiffany torchieres are hard to come by, and I didn't much like the ones I was finding. Enter this solution. I'd tried a few other light bulb splitters, but they all lifted the bulbs out of the shade, which made for a glaringly bright, unpleasant light. With the splitters, the bulbs are still below the top rim of the 12" shade, and the lamp now produces enough light!Specs: 660W max (though I don't know where you'd find a 660W socket to screw it into!) and made in China.

High quality well made.
The terminals inside and at its base look to be brass they are generously sized. Not sure why I thought these were going to be porcelain but they are a light weight composite. I am using LED bulbs so while the amperage draw is minimal the base of leds do get hot. I ran them for a while and they seem like they are going to be fine with a combined draw of 14 watts. I was able to get them in the correct orientation with them not being to tight or loose. Three Bears porridge just right. Saved lots of time and expense by putting flood lamp next to a regular bulb to boost the illumination in the corners of my bath room.

For my attic
I had two incandescant bulbs in my attic. Now I have FOUR real bright LED bulbs that should last a lifetime and all 4 won't pull amps like the two incandescents did. Love the right thing like this. Does exactly what I need in a minimalist way...more light in my attic which I access once in a great while.

Fit and Function exactly as expected
I needed this product to allow me to increase the general illumination level in my living room. I have matching end-table lamps on both ends of my couch, and the table lamps originally were suited for a single three-speed 50/100/150 watt incandescent. I have switched to using LED replacement bulbs, and this allows me to obtain the equivalent of 200 watts of illumination by using two LEDs were previously I had one incandescent.

Perfect for brightening rooms with LED light bulbs
Used these in the garage and crawl space. Brightened both areas immensely by using higher brightness LED bulbs in place of halogen and/or fluorescent bulbs. Very happy and no issues.
