Looks Just Like a Real Window!I recently bought the VELIMAX window film, and I’m seriously impressed. It actually looks like a real window, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The design adds a nice touch of style and privacy without blocking out all the light.Installation was super easy — I had it up in no time without any special tools or hassle. It sticks well and feels like it’s built to last.If you’re looking for a simple way to upgrade your space, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try!

This is my third order of this window film. We live in a highly visible public area. I want to let in light but still retain privacy. This design is perfect. The only place I won’t put it is in the window that’s right next to the toilet. If you are within about 1-2 feet of the film, people on the outside can see too much. But in areas where you will be 3 or more feet away, it’s perfect. It lets in almost all of the sunlight, and practically disappears at night. It also allows me to see if someone is right outside the window on the front porch. It’s a great product, extremely easy to install.

I’m returning these. I did a quarter of my window and too small for my windows, but by the time I had completed that quarter, I was struggling to find the willpower to do the rest. They are what they say they are and they work well for what it’s worth. Use much more water than you think you’ll need and put on a long podcast to listen to. I loved how they looked (at least… I loved the part that I DID complete).Let me put it this way. You know those phone screen protectors that you need to be real meticulous with to remove all the bubbles so that you don’t get annoyed? It’s essentially that but for your windows. So if you aren’t good at putting the phone screen protectors on (me… I wasn’t good at that) then get a friend who’s really good at it and pay them with food and entertainment. Also get a large squeegee with a rubber end. Otherwise you’ll be apologizing to your apartment neighbors for the horrendous scraping noise that you create for two hours (I had to use a credit card… it worked but at what cost).I will say, when the strip I put on was up, it stayed. It was really cool to see science at work. They’re not sticky at the back at all. They use static to cling to your windows and removing the air bubbles is crucial. Because there was no adhesive, was also so easy to remove. Repacking is a whole different issue that we don’t have to get into.4 stars because it was definitely bang for my buck and did what it said it would do. It made things very opaque from the outside (and the inside tbh). It stuck well to the windows and made that quarter of my window look REALLY good!-1 star because I’m not that patient. Also, I was sent the incorrect size. So BEFORE YOU CUT (in fact, before you even open the packages), re-measure your windows and triple check the size of these things. Measure twice cut once, my friends. +1 inch on each side for good measure.

My personal experience with this product was great. It was super easy to work with and looks beautiful! I am super happy. Renter friendly, & for the price you cant go wrong. Definitely recommend. The only part I didn’t like was removing the protective film off of it. It was a little difficult. Otherwise great.

Easy for wife & husband to install cling with soapy water & razor blade. Some minor issues with cutting a straight line - but that is me not the product - and my errors are only noticeable if looking for them. Added pics of both day & night privacy. These doors are from our bedroom to the back deck. The frosted cling lets me peek through the diamond lines during the day to see a blurry image of anyone on the deck & we would see shadow of anyone trying to peek in at night.

Very beautiful window film, easy to install. I ended up using it in a bedroom and used the remnants for a glass case in my kitchen cabinet set up. I get a lot of compliments about it.

I was determined to get this right, so I followed the instructions exactly. I spent a lot of time trying to line up the diamonds since I have a wide window. Trying to get the bubble out was a nightmare. They like to hang out at the edges. Spraying more water helped a little, but I feel like the soapy water actually makes it worse because soap forms bubbles. Also, the film does not cut easily, so when I was trimming the excess off the edges, it became a jagged mess. When I was done, I figured it looked decent enough to leave it in place until I had the energy to try to perfect it again. But then night came, and turns out there are tons of tiny air bubbles that weren’t noticeable during the day. It just looks really cheap. I’m really bummed about this. It’s a pretty design, and I actually thought the thickness of the plastic was decent. The instructions were clear. But that’s about all the positives I can say about it.
