Dell65 Watt AC Adapter for Dell

Update..Worked a year.Now the laptop is back losing connection again and not enough power warnings.The end fits loosely into the laptop so not sure if its just worn down or the laptop part is getting more worn.My laptop would lose connection for no apparent reason.Almost bought another laptop until a relative suggested it could be the power supply.I have been using this cord two days and that seems to have fixed the issue.This is not a charger just the electric power supply.If you have a bad battery this will not fix that problem.My battery does not last long so I leave my laptop plugged in most the time.After checking the old cord I found it was slightly split from being a bit bent when plugged in.It had broken a good connection when moved it appears and would lose connection.So far its working good and has fixed the connection problem.This is the actual Dell product.Good deal since its twice the price on Dells site.

I bought this adapter to use while I am on the road. It works well and is reliable.

My daughter's charger to get laptop broke so we ordered this one. It was the exact right one and had held up pretty well to the wear and tear of daily use, and the price wasn't bad!

I have an Inspiron 17 5770. I was using a Dell 90 w charger with an adapter from 7.4 mm to 4.5 mm. After about 6 years that charger wasn't being recognized when I plugged it in 50% of the time. What do I mean? The light turned on that it was plugged in, but then turned off again after a second and wouldn't come back on. It was powering the laptop, but not charging it. So plug, unplug until the light finally stayed on. Sometimes I would get a warning from the BIOS that there was incorrect power connected and performance would be adjusted (slowed down).Bought this one and the 4.5 mm fits snugly and perfectly. This charger is recognized every time as soon as I plug it in and it begins to charge. Also no more messages from the BIOS.Very happy with it and the price was well below what I expected for a replacement.

I bought in December 2023, and after a few months, it didn’t even charge at all, my laptop was at 0, when I plugged it in, it worked, but will not charge at all, making it broken

This is a fantastic seller. You can get this replacement cord just about anywhere, but service matters. Go with this one!This seller accidentally sent me the wrong unit. Before it even arrived, I was notified and the correct replacement was on the way. WOW!The part was exactly as advertised, works just fine, and I'm happy with it. It was the service that made all the difference. You never know who you're dealing with until something goes wrong. Having a pro-active solution was over the top. As a PC repair shop, I'll look for this one again.Well done!

I purchased this in June and by September it stopped working. I went to plug it in, it sparked a few times and then did not work afterwards. Very disappointed. Not to mention this seems like a fire hazard. I have 5 laptops in this house so I know how to use them properly. I'm not sure what happened with this one. I wish I could get a refund. Do not buy this!
