I needed to move some mdf sheets, and if you've ever tried picking one up on your own, you will know how awkward it can be. This little device, whilst not making them any lighter, certainly makes it far easier to lift and manoeuvre them. I have only used it on some 8' x 4' sheets that I cut in half lengthways, but it makes moving them about a breeze. I am very pleased with it.

Had the 8x4s to shift today and being on my own knew it would be a challenge .Saw this little tool on Amazon and thought it was worth a tryIt gripped the boards well there was two sizes 9mm OSB which it handled very easily and some 18mm and it performs med very well .I am 5ft 8 and 72 years old and this didn’t make things lighter but did allow me to move them .The quality is here and I’m confident this tool will last quite a while it’s very well made .Brilliant buy and highly recommended

This is a very handy and effective piece of equipment ideal for helping lift large sheet boards safely and single-handedly. Gravity helps clamp the kit to a board without damaging it to allow one person to lift and move the board with relative ease

Very sturdy bit of kit great to have in the van and makes light work of carrying plasterboards and other sheet material like osb and mdf

Heavy duty metal product. Makes lifting sheet material easy. I can just lift a sheet of 8x4 18mm MDF with this. Impossible without. Money well spent.

Couldn't get this to work at first so I asked if it would work on melamine but I should have said melamine board. I've now got the knack and it does, it works very well, so thank you to Mario Grech, Gerald Long and jcg for taking the time to answer my question.

so easy to use. as other buyers said, the panels don't get lighter (obviously) but its very good for moving panels from place to place when you don't have a helper

Wasn’t sure about this one. But works really well. Work with plywood from time to time. And those 240*120 sheets are just impossible to lift by yourself.With this thing, not an issue at all.Grips well enough (at least on what I use, 9 and 12 mm plywood)Do not regret purchasing this.
