Had surgery on femur and tendon repaired. These are great and comfortable to use. They freeze quickly and are easy to fasten.

These are great ice packs. My husband had hip replacement surgery and they work very well. I would recommend getting 3 or 4 jsut so when you pull it out of the freezer it is really frozen. I bought 2 and in the time we need the other it just isn’t completely frozen, but we are doing 1 hour increments so that’s our fault not the ice pack. The strap however doesn’t fit around him so we have just been using one strap. Would highly recommend!

Love the ease of use and the speed in which they re freeze!! Very helpful with swelling and recovery from surgery without all of the sweating like traditional ice packs. Holds well with Velcro and very comfortable

Great for icing after hip replacement. Gets cold fast in the freezer. I cut the straps off so I could use it where I needed it most. I found it too heavy to walk around with it strapped on. You can use it on either side, the vinyl side is colder, the velvet/velour side is softer. The weight of it helps it mold nicely to your body. I highly recommend it.

It was a good product until it stopped working 9 months after purchase. About a week before it stopped working, the automatic temperature shut-off stopped working, so unless I unplugged it, it stayed on 24/7. I think a heating pad that isn't used everyday should work longer than this.

This ice pack is very well made and almost perfectly designed. The surface that goes against the body is velvety and prevents skin damage even when the pack is frozen to zero degrees. It comes with a sturdy bag to cover it in the freezer. The very clingy Velcro straps are long enough to go around the largest thigh.Now to "almost" perfectly designed: The anterior approach total hip replacement incision starts on the thigh and ascends about two inches above the crease between the thigh and torso. One Velcro strap needs to be three inches longer than currently designed in order to reach around and fasten across the lower torso to secure the pack in place.

This is a nice product with a soft felt side that is not too cold for the skin, and a rubbery side that is really cold. You choose. Very flexible to wrap around body parts for both compression and cold. One of my favorite ice wraps, and I have a few. There may be latex in the rubber so for those that are allergic to latex, be aware. Otherwise a quality product!
